  • I don't get why intelligent religious people and intelligent atheists can't get along.

  • So awesome! Atheists don't need to ask questions or state facts, they just need to tell you that you have the answer already!

  • ".. all of a sudden she breathin' "

    Well, I'm convinced.

  • I'm not religious. You could call me atheist if you wanted to label me. But truly, religion isn't as much of a toxic to human life as people think it is. It can contribute positively to peoples life. And there is a lot of good texts and things in which everybody can learn from every religion.

  • @xLuckyLuciano

Whatever positive stems from religion does not find its origins within that religion. They are, after all, the products of mankind. People have the capacity to be moral without going to specific religions and their doctrines to read something that people already have the capacity of creating. And atheism isn't a "label" any more than any other descriptive term is a "label." The problem with religion is dogma, and many are, by definition, mutually exclusive.

  • @xLuckyLuciano people are good because they are good. Not because religion but because moral.

  • what bitches god is real and yall will go to hell and what do atheist believe in anyway

  • @17pilgrimracing Shut the fuck up

  • A roe deer born at the tiny 2.5-acre Natural Sciences Center of Prato sanctuary in Italy's Tuscan region has a single unicorn-like horn protruding from the center of its skull.Indian Rhinoceros can be classed as a unicorn as well.

  • i think this is proof that religious people are not stupid, just been mentally attacked from birth.

  • See how willing they are to listen (despite the humor involved)? Imagin an atheist or agnostic trying to explain their beliefs to a Christian (or any religious fanatic for that matter). What happens? the religious person manages to practically turn his ears off (metaphorically speaking). Are you afraid we may be right? If not then stop stearing clear of debate? you may learn something.

  • Athiests and Christians are stupid... the same arguments come out again and again. Science is generally reductionist and creates a model for a very tiny tiny tiny part of reality. To believe that science is reality, is equivalent to believing a map is the real thing.Science is a (useful) tool.Admittedly it is usually far more useful in many survival situations than religion. However religion does give people aspiration and hope and creates a fulfilling spiritual life, why not choose that reality?

  • @underdonkey5 You can get aspiration and hope and have a fulfilling life without believing in a God too.

  • @hada0602

but... what many people need (psychologically) is not just hope when there is a good chance of success, but hope when something may seem impossible. Belief in God may prevent people giving up, despite having little chance (e.g. waiting for rescue in the middle of an ocean). Most cultures have developed religion and I believe it has a psychological (and evolutionary) function beyond just cultural/societal harmony/control.

  • @underdonkey5 Yes I agree religion has psychological functions beyond many things. This is due to the power and mystery of our brains. There is plenty still to be understood. Religion does not always produce societal harmony or control (unless you consider harmony/control to be things associated with priests molesting young boys, gay bashing, extremists flying planes into buildings, the holocaust, people strapping bombs to themselves and waltzing into a girls school, and more). God's plan right?

  • He doesn't believe in unicorns yet he believes in a mystical being known as 'god'! LOL!

  • Are Christians really this stupid ? Sadly yes, most of them are.

  • Great!!!

  • Lol this is so funny!

  • "Hello? Hello?"

    lawls

  • Fake. Another atheistic propaganda bullshit. I swear, you guys are getting more fanatical then medieval Catholic church...

  • @Vlada985

Yeah, us atheists have witch-burnings all the time. Call this propaganda if you want, but there's plenty of Christian propaganda out there too.

  • @Vlada985 Your free to ring up and ask your own questions if you want.

  • i like how this guy is so winded

  • dum da dee da dum dah dahhh beeecauuuse the biiible tells me so

  • this shit was hillarious.... i believe in a god of somesort.... not based off of any organized religions, but you know my own personal experiences and feelings, and thoughts. put it this way, if i had to name my god, i would name him.. "He Who Has No Name. or Hwhnn for short... -_^. but what i jst witnessed was some of the funniest shit ever.... way to capitilize on another modern day, zombie christian. but cmon guys.... its not his fault. blame his parents and society

  • Oh..... HA HA HA HA this clip is gold!!! You see the theists have the reasoning skills as this caller demonstrated by realizing that unicorns are fairytale creatures but for some unknown reason they cannot seem to apply it to the man upstairs. Fascinating.

  • hehehe

  • I was waiting for him to actually prove them wrong. He did nothing helpful for himself lol.

  • This was hilarious ...

  • 2:03 get Matt a new microphone.

  • I believe in Harvey Dent.

  • lmao he keeps saying HELLO when they tell him something he doesnt wonna hear

  • Okay Matt I can't stop watching videos of you. Sigh, amazing work.

  • Arsehole.

  • God damn it,

    we've seen unicorn.

It was caprine and smelled liked Hell.

  • it's so funny that this guy doesn't realize that he's answering his own questions XD

  • "good point good point good point." Christians just push reason aside and ignore the fact that their arguments are flawed. No matter how BLATANTLY obvious that god is not real ... no matter what reasoning you provide to Christians ... they will just ignore it, because they are just so brainwashed that they can't let go of their mystical and supernatural belief system. When the guy said "good point", that's when he should've thought ... "hmm ... I was just fooling myself".

  • @lesliekwan80 and you know why they can't listen to reason??? God brainwashed them!

  • @anarchyskater737 Says the guy called anarchyskater. 1. skaters are fucking pussies 2. you don't even know what anarchy is do you?

  • @StalkingRainbow your just mad because u have nothing to believe in... honestly with out religion the world would be a mess...

  • @anarchyskater737 Yeah if the world didn't have religion the holy crusades would have never been carried out and we'd still have the Twin Towers. Oh and thanks to the Christian dark ages our scintific growth was stumped. Hell we could be colonizing Jupiter by now but nope.... Thats religion you've bought into the biggest pile of bullshit mankind has ever come up with.

Oh and if you're trying to back religion up having anarchy in your name doesn't help.

Google Anarchy and read about it.

  • @StalkingRainbow dawg i know what anarchy is i made this youtube account along time ago when i was confused and didn't believe in god.

  • @anarchyskater737 Yeah my ass.

  • @anarchyskater737 The more secular societies are doing just as good, if not BETTER, than the non-secular ones. So sorry. The world wouldn't be a mess without religion. You just pulled that out of your ass. Mystical and ancient beliefs in the supernatural should be left in the dark ages. I don't know how a grown adult can believe that an invisible man who grants wishes is listening to you when you talk to yourself.

  • @anarchyskater737

BECAUSE of religion, the world is more of a mess than it should be.

  • Troll?! That was too perfect.

  • the show is to take advantage of christians who don't fully understand their faith. Intelligent christians do not impart in this

  • Leon is bringing the ruckus to the ladeeez

    "ejaculan"

  • i love these people so fucking much

  • "halfway dead, or whatever"

  • i like these guys!

  • Pfft, atheism. Agnosticism is where it's at.

  • Jesus, save us from your followers..

  • Comments full of religious nutters. Tell it to your flying spaghetti monster in the sky because the atheists are too busy enjoying life to listen.

  • Atheists = cocky bastards.

  • @Yankeesandgators10

we are not better than anyone we just sound smarter when we debate a christian nutbag

  • Man, that guy was so freaking funny

  • them guys are ass holes

  • athesist some nob heads

  • You have nothing to loose if you believe in God and He does not exist, but you are going to loose out big time if you don't believe in Him and realize too late that He does exist. That's a big gamble.

  • @X1pher Which God? If I chose the wrong one I'm in big dodo.

  • @X1pher God is a jerk if he gave us rational thought and then went into hiding, waiting for people to die so their ghost can go into an invisible dimension that might be in the sky or something just so he can decide if you live the rest of your forever ghost years in pain or bless based on if you believed he existed or not.

  • @X1pher Well then tell him to show himself to so many people that don't believe in him. Oh wait.. you can't.. he isn't real. No one can prove their religion is the right and true one, and yours is no exception. Oh also.. it's lose not loose. Loose is saying your pants are loose.

  • @X1pher i have seen absolutely no proof whatsoever that god exists, quite the opposite infact. Christianity is the biggest scare campaign ever invented and i will confidently say that i DO NOT believe in god whatever that means for me. As a young kid i was afraid to say it incase i faced some kind of divine punishment, and i figure thats why babbling christian fools tour kindies trying to recruit and brainwash the poor kids there. GOD CAN KISS MY ASS (oh wait thats right he doesnt exist oh shame

  • @X1pher

Oh no so sad, god is a jealous being who need worship so childish.

  • @X1pher if you go by that logic than you have to believe in every god, maybe muhammad is a messenger of allah, why not believe that to? because you cant, its not just atheists you need to believe in your god, its everyone who doesnt believe in your god. telling someone to believe in your god, just in case, is like me telling you believe in every theory or religion ever based on the small instance that they all claime to be right. That sir is the loophole in your logic. Think your faith through.

  • @X1pher Choose to believe in God = Hatred for non believers or believers of other fate. Participating in mindless irrational behavior accepting killing of witches/demons. Doing good just for a hope to get into heaven. Supporting sexism/racism/homophobes. Being responsible for killing/WAR. Hindering scientific knowledge like medicines depending on God for solving the life threatning diseases. (many more reasons not enough room to explain in just 500 characters. Hope you get the point)

  • why is not god not real?

  • all da sudden she breavin'

  • @z0r18

I never quoted the Bible once, nor do I wish to.

Let's look at the law shall we?

Did you purchase the software you used to make your music?

Did you purchase the samples that you used?

Did you purchase the right to use the intellectual property of Star Trek in you Youtube video?

Was your song made for "educational purposes"?

  • That was kind of mean. lolz

  • @sirlegendhead Yea its kind of like, at least have a heart. Not even a hey man I am glad she is doing better. Amazing things do happen, that hopefully everyone can agree on, a cynical and bitter heart wants to twist everything and the pride of man enjoys looking down on people and events, reassuring themselves in their own eyes they are in the right and all wise and better than someone who has faith.

  • my god this was beautiful! lol

  • Religion was invented when the first fool met the first charlatan.

The imagination that there is some such entity as a god/gods was an imagination due to the fact that early humans could not accept the finality of death.

The dead person must have gone elsewhere, etc.

Those who believe in this imagineering and think they "talk with/to god(s)" are as advanced as the earliest humans.

That is, without a clear and reasoned thought process.

  • Wow. Those two guys make the rest of us non-christians look like total assholes.

  • @sirlegendhead not really, they're only telling the truth.

  • @sirlegendhead are you a mormon?

  • @sirlegendhead

    totally agree

  • 666 likes. muhawhawhawhaw

  • @KeithCHoffman 667 now.

  • HAHAHAHA

  • tl:dl

  • @bballplayer9744 You're missing the point entirely. Atheists don't argue that there isn't a god. There is no need to do so because the premise has not been established. Atheists simply say that there is no proof that there is or isn't a god, therefore the claim that he *does* exist is irrational. Similarly, the claim that he does not exist is just as absurd, but the exact same arguments can be made for an infinite number of other things, like unicorns.

  • @HockeyHockey13 that's agnostic, atheists don't believe in the existence of a higher being

  • @dmitrymin An agnostic is someone who is 100% sure that there is no way of ever knowing anything for sure. Agnosticism is only indirectly related to religion, it's really a question of knowledge. An atheist is someone who has seen no reason to believe in a God. They can be sure or they can be unsure.

  • @earkron it's not about being sure or unsure, atheism is the absence of belief that any deities exist. I agree with what you said about agnostics. However, it's the agnostics who "can be sure or unsure" about the existence of God because they believe "that there is no way of ever knowing anything for sure." Atheists renounce religion.

  • this guy doesn't know what he's talking about and i respect athiests but arguing with religious people whether God is real or not is just stupid..you can believe what you want and we can believe what we want

  • If you could reason with religious people, then there would be no religious people

  • @bigboylive2008 I can't help but notice that with one of your uploaded videos you have stolen intellectual property. By breaking one of the 10 Commandments, you have guaranteed yourself a spot in hell.

  • @z0r18

Firstly, one can be saved if so chooses to do so.

Secondly, stealing is primarily for personal gain, be it financially or otherwise. I am not making any sort of profit off of those videos, nor have I even looked at those videos in quite some time. Also, if you want to get down to it, does intellectual property only include copyrighted issues? If not, than you aren't the first person to substitute numbers for letters in your name, therefore, you are stealing... Kind of a sad argument...

  • @bigboylive2008

    Helpful Not Helpful

Exodus 20:15 “You shall not steal"

You can pick and choose what you think the bible means, but by US Federal law you are stealing intellectual property.

1 Peter 2:13 "Submit yourself to every ordinance of man . . . to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors."

So you are stealing. Breaking one of the Ten Commandments is irreconcilable.

You cannot defend yourself from this argument unless you are going to pick and choose the parts of the bible that you believe.

  • @z0r18 Cool! Apparently they're filling up fast!

  • lol pwned !

  • LOL nice!

  • A SOLIPSIST!?!?!?

  • alla sudden she breathin!

    PROOF!

  • Am I the only one who thinks making a quote from the video your comment is obnoxious?

  • i like to think atheist as people that looks at religion very rationally (to most at least), however i think the reason a lot of religious people (or educated religious people) dislike atheist is because many atheist have a very generalized view about all religions. Their arguments are ideas are very generalized across all religions, which is somewhat an incomplete approach when the majority of religions are so different.

  • @waya121 All religions may have very different beliefs from one another, but they all follow the same basic template of intolerance and anti-progressiveness. Christianity has Jesus and the 10 Commandments, Islam has Muhammad and the 5 Pillars, Hinduism has multiple incarnations of god and 5 principles plus 10 commandments, but they all persuade an irrational belief in a mystical, fake deity and they all advocate for violence against nonbelievers. As Hitchens puts it, religion poisons everything.

  • @TheCorbenik85 of course these religiouns have basic fundamentals that have many simularities,-its just wen i hear an argument over a talk show or on NPR it just comes down to atheist generalizating those fundamentals... i just think they need to go more in depth to be convincing--in any convincing argument actually. And you got videos like this where fools call in with very weak arguments and very little expertise in their own religion to explain themselves, and atheist feel triumphant xD

  • @waya121 Well, it's really the overall idea of any religious or spiritualist belief that we have our overall disbelief of; that this is all the result of and under control by a great force which can defy physical law and exist beyond our comprehension. By that token, the possible existence of any other "non-physical" beings is infinite. Basically, you can't disprove any of them, and since you refuse to believe in all but one, you, too, are in the same conundrum. A little silly, don't you think?

  • @monosaturated well every one knows religion is non-falsifiable, anyone who says they have proof to say otherwise is a fool. lol. My point is not the atheist view of the belief system but their lack of an argument that has depth. Anyway im not going to talk anymore about this, for 2 people or a group of people to argue over a subject that is non-falsifiable is ridiculous in itself. let bygones be bygones i suppose

  • @waya121 You really....shouldn't type anymore.

  • HAHAHAHAHA

  • This is great.

  • "Aight, good point, good point. Ok, good point." -- I love this guy!

  • Do YOU believe.. In Unicorns?

  • @Silversnow117 Fuck yeah!

  • she was halfway dead or whatever

  • 16 people are still fapping to jesus on sundays.

  • lmoa this the best...... thats it for the rest of the day, im good to go lmao

  • Hah that caller was just TOOOOO much rofl!

  • Laying his book aside, Newton arose and laid a hand on his friend’s shoulder and said: “This thing is but a puny imitation of a much grander system whose laws you and I know, and I am not able to convince you that this mere toy is without a designer and maker; yet you profess to believe that the great original from which the design is taken has come into being without either designer or maker. Now tell me, by what sort of reasoning do you reach such incongruous conclusions?”

  • @onesimus1352 u know i was kidding about religion because i don't belive in it i only follow human rights laws, then others etc

  • @only2nocrew yea man i knew that from the start. I was an atheist most of my teen years until God showed up in a big way. B4 I mocked religion & thought it was just some stupid fanatics and hypocrites. I guess I didnt know everything after my 18 yrs of existence being taught under humanistic philosophy. Rlly its ones soul before a holy God, whose laws are far purer than humans. we all fall short n have no promise of tmmrw to think we will wait to care later in life.msg me if u want to cont convo

  • @onesimus1352 i would love to take u out on a date lol since we homos love men like u

  • @only2nocrew those human laws are really teaching respect toward fellow human being aren't they? Bravo on showing atheists lack of moral fiber once again and showing the falleness and depravity of mankind. Keep it up I think you are doing a fine work of showing the present need for religion still. Choosing dirty perv humor over any sort of intelligent conversation is a fine way to set atheists back centuries

  • @onesimus1352 so u proved religion is right by trying to what dis encounter what i say, even tho im not even serious and we can have a intelligent conversation on the internet how inserting lol, n when was i an atheist?

  • @only2nocrew ???

  • @onesimus1352

It is impossible to make a true moral judgment when that judgment is only made to escape punishment. You can't talk about morality when you yourself are immoral.

  • @z0r18 Such assumptions w/ that statement. First is is possible to make a true moral judgment and second its possible to talk about morality as many have done before and continue to do so. Think of Judges and parents they make those choices all the time, of course everyone falls short, but tell that to the convict he will laugh.Mans Philosophy ramble cant help him;the sentence has been carried out. What judgment to escape punishment ? Are you speaking about hell? As if its an 'only' a lil thing.

  • @onesimus1352

It is impossible to make a true moral judgment as there is no universal standard of judgment. Just because someone believes they are making a moral judgment doesn't mean that they are, much like yourself.

And you yourself just proved my point. Hell/punishment/"lil thing" is the only reason that you believe in your god YHWH. If you are acting out of that fear of punishment, you cannot be moral.

Morality is acting in a way that is self serving that doesn't hurt others as much.

  • @z0r18 no one proved your point, youtube only gives so much one can type I was merely saying judgment isnt a little thing, we go through are whole life with it. Homework, laws, due dates, smoking causing cancer. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, or amazing grace taught my heart to fear and grace my fears relieved. Why doesnt one drive 180mph or rob a bank? There is reverence in the Fear of God, for he is the Judge.By what authority are your absolute statements on morality?

  • @onesimus1352

"There is reverence in the Fear of God, for he is the Judge."

So the only reason you don't do evil is because of fear of YHWH. Thanks for proving my point.

  • @z0r18 Your welcome. If that was the only reason it would be valid enough. The other reason being for the sake of its the good thing to do. You act like its some outrageous immoral thing. Do you not know the greatness of God? The reason we dont disobey our parents is out of that same fear. But you neglect what else i said and the other aspects of the relationship to appear superior. Do you not know we type YHWH out of reverence as well ?

  • @z0r18 Oh and to disprove your generalizing point, we obey God because we love Him and more and more as the years go on because we see and understand a spark of how Amazing He really is! And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed.

  • @onesimus1352 I don't think I understand your Isaac Newton story. That models and the universe have the same origins? I mean, it sounded like the scientist had encountered models before and understood the creation process behind them, and was curious about who created it because of its quality.

  • Comment removed

  • @Treniths Hey I think that other guy answered it good. I think Newtons point he was trying to get across was to have the other man see that there was a creator behind the model, which was a basic thing even if the workmanship was great, thus there was a creator behind the actual universe and as everything rotates in place and the sun is just perfectly the right distance away or we would be crispy. Google might have the longer story somewhere, cheers

  • @onesimus1352 A model is a known man made thing though. To not only compare it to the universe, but to also have it suggest it's evidence of a designer is silly. Yes, if we were closer to the sun, things would be different. We wouldn't be crispy, we just wouldn't be (or at least we wouldn't exist as we know ourselves today). I mean, using that logic, wouldn't the vast majority of the other planets be proof that there wasn't a designer? Unless God just wanted space to look prettier.

  • @Treniths You got it i think, and if God created all the other planets simply to show his glory and as an artist i think that's reasonable enough. So much in this world is beautiful. We are taught such humanistic things we think everything revolves around us. So much is in the ocean we dont even know alone. This was Newtons story, he must've been a silly man then and little in some peoples eyes for believing God but i think he would see them as silly for not seeing the Creators work

  • @onesimus1352 But isn't the idea of God the same thing? That humans desire there to be a master designer to make sense of things we do not understand, or to give ourselves the idea that our lives have a "higher" meaning, or to comfort us with the thought that there's treasure after death.

If God does exist, he's definitely not the God that was written about in the bible. Unless he matured over the last few millenniums and doesn't care to be worshiped or interfere with our lives.

  • @Treniths You are mistaken in thinking that God is an idea and some invention of man as no prophecy is ever made from the will of man, as they come to pass true, which is outside the control of man. Those desires themselves r put within man just as the moral law is put in our hearts, they aren't illegal or some light thing. 'If' Is a common word used by the deceiving devil, 'If' you are the son of God.. or 'Did' God really say.. God never changes and tell me what do you know of the Bible ?

  • @onesimus1352, the best way to open someones eyes to the truth is to have them read the bible. Then they will see just how full of shit the religion is, and stop believing in nonsense.

  • @Zhylo The bible is the most profound book ever. No one who has genuinely read it and attempted to understand it can actually say that. Jews, christians, muslims, hindu, & even atheists have said it to be so. It contains law, history, poetry+. The teaching to love one another and do not murder or commit adultery has saved marriages and lives and lead countries. It is a very ignorant thing to say as history has shown. Most everyone Ive met against it has a 1st grade understanding of its contents.

  • @onesimus1352, Sure, but I'm questioning the fact that the bible is gods word, and that miracles have occurred ect. If you are a human being with five or more functioning brain-cells, you'd see that the bible is inconsistent, it promotes a vile and hateful god, and is generally unpleasant.

You can scream that modern society is based on the bible all you want. What matters, is that we're NOT EVEN CLOSE to that today. You can't cherry-pick stuff. cont..

  • @Zhylo Then judgment and hell makes sense. The bible is very consistant and books upon books are written on misinterpretation on difficult sayings. For example, some had servants who acctually had a better life as a servant as they owned their own property and treated well and the NT condemns enslavers, and says if you can get your freedom then take it. The bald man was a direct insult...

  • @onesimus1352, Calling someone bald is never under ANY circumstances such a crime you have to not only kill the two who said it, but their friends also. If you so fully belive that what the bible says is true, then consider EVERYTHING or nothing to be true, pick one. If you pick everything, then god is kinda a sadist. If none, then you value reason, common sense and logic over magic phenomenas, faux-facts and belief in supernatural events (aka a crazy person)

  • @Zhylo So who is the moral expert now? I have told you the story behind it and you refuse to accept the reason as it doesnt suit well with you. God really does see the evil heart of man. I believe everything the bible says. It seems to be the case there is this im rational and reasonable and logical but yet they fail to see spiritual things and venture past cynical attitudes as if western thought is superior and supernatural is fiction when many can confirm with their senses it is not.

  • @onesimus1352 cont.. So slaves are ok? And it's okay for a god to send two bears after some children for calling a man bald? For every good saying the bible has, there's an equally disgusting saying. The laws and norms of society are based on HUMAN CULTURE, therefore, some is the same, but NONE should be credited to the bible.

  • @Zhylo I have seen miracles in Jesus name with my own eyes as well as know of many many others that happen today. The natural man thinks spiritual matters are folly and it seems consistant that a lot of atheists seem pure in their own eyes and self righteous calling what is good evil and what is evil good. Even sound responses are met with cursing, deletions or marked as spam. God does seem hateful and vile unless one understand that God is Holy and hates sin, and 1 understands his own depravity

  • @onesimus1352, I stopped reading after you wrote you've seen miracles in jesus name. You know people are put in asylums for lesser? Some people are REALLY delusional....

  • @Zhylo I am not lying but it shows how unwilling you are to accept what does not line up with your philosophy by plugging your ears and covering your eyes. I have seen people who couldnt hear hear, people who couldnt walk walk even demon possesed. In the last 15 years I have heard at least 3 accounts of people being raised from the dead. This was confirmed by loads of people and to this day people will tell you of miraculous healing all over the world. India australia new zealand africa.

  • @onesimus1352 LOL BULLSHIT

  • @Zhylo That is, if the fallowers were capabel of reading.

  • @NedLooks, Well, excuse me for having the pleasure of being born in Norway, where logic rules, not biased religion.

  • @Zhylo to him as a prophet as prophets were marked by shaved heads which is against God and since they said go up, ref. to elijah. The word for kids can mean young men as well plus many other laws concerning chilrend were in place, but that doesnt make God unjust and certainly not by someone who thinks morality is relative & as time changes so do morals.Forefathers of America were close to their faith & today many are so nearsighted they are blind & gnash their teeth at things thy dnt understand

  • @onesimus1352, By mentioning morality change over time you've entered a dark alley.

Youtube is not a fitting forum for such one-sided discussions as these, so after this reply, I will cease to respond, out of boredom and headache (some people are so stupid it makes my head hurt).

Go fuck jesus and your "god".

Also, religion and morality is like oil and water, they do not mix.

  • @Zhylo I am saying that is your position because you said TODAYS SOCIETY is different. You show your reasoning skills very clearly by refusing to accept peoples testimonies, which is abundant not just one person, of healing and your foul language, which is usually what atheists resort to. Morality & religion have always mixed, history verifies. Ultimately time will tell & we all will meet our Judge & Creator; he has provided the Gospel 4 you otherwise one will perish. May God reveal to you truth.

  • @onesimus1352 "Morality & religion have always mixed,history verifies."

You mean things such as the crusades and the inquisition? Burning witches?

Morality and atheism seem to mix a lot better, the present verifies.

  • @Menjo123 I meant in that statement its a basic fact, religion comes with moral standards. Like telling you that apples come with stems. The often cliche example of crusades and inquisition was from misinterpretation and Christians like Luther were against it but people didn't want to listen to sound understanding. The Law is good and it does its job very well by showing the people who it was for, are anything but.

  • @onesimus1352 If God never changes, why did he stop murdering people? You know, like witches, homosexuals, not respecting Him enough, killing children that don't give their parents enough respect, people who fornicate, people of other religions, and so on. Why is it that God doesn't make his presence known outside of the heads of the religious folk if he wanted to be followed, praised, feared, and so forth? If God existed and was all powerful, he wouldn't need people fighting for him.

  • @Treniths Good questions. When someone is in war do you call that murdering someone or a Judge sentencing someone to the death penalty? Take into account his own people, did they die as well? Has judgments stopped now on sin or will there be a day of reckoning? God makes his Godlike attributes known to everyone by creation itself though many have denied even that. Think of Jesus in the garden scolding his disciple for chopping off the guards ear and what he said on it.

  • @onesimus1352 That sounds more like people disciplining people, not God. Will there be a day of reckoning? Maybe, but it's a silly thing to say because it's unprovable and nothing outside of the bible suggest there will be. It's just someone saying that someday (probably not even in our lifetimes) we will be judged when God finds the time to do so. Existence doesn't prove God, and if anything, disproves him. Or at least disproves the God that was written about in the Bible.

  • @Treniths according to the bible there is a day set apart for judgment day. Its in terminator 2, jokes. What outside the bible would there be ? Gods Spirit also teaches of the coming judgment. I am interested in talking to seekers not mockers and you have good questions for a nice change. Not in a rude way but how much have you read of the bible in all honesty ?

  • @onesimus1352 I have, and it's reason I have a problem with it. There's too many things that don't make sense, too much hypocrisy, and too many self serving morals that paints God as vain and egotistical rather than loving and righteous. Not to mention the Bible was written by man, then rewritten and re-translated by man several times thus filtering and redefining the original text. If the Bible was an accurate portrayal of God, then something has changed to make him passive to the world of man.

  • @Treniths The fact is that scripture has depth for people have studied it their whole life & simple quick answers leave a lot out.one of the best ways 2c charcter is through his Son, as he says the image of the invisible God. It was written by man but men inspired by Gods Spirit. We have the original greek and hebrew and Aramaic while many translations exist we have original text. It is split in old covenant and new, the old was not the final plan. Out of the 66 books wth , how many have u read?

  • @onesimus1352 Well, see, that's another issue. Why are there so many books with varying ideas about the principle and morals of God all written by man? If God created existence, does he really need so many humans to write books about him and his work in order to get other humans to worship him? If he wanted to be acknowledged, he could make it so. He wouldn't make atheist, other religions, or a world with so many contradictions to the Bible otherwise. Heck, he could just create his own book.

  • @Treniths As in so many books about the principles of God what are you referring to ? 66 books of the bible? No one can play Gods lawyer but we give witness to He in fact is real, but people cover their ears and eyes to what He has done and continues to do. I think the main problem is people have some kindergarten box conception of who God is and get out of whack when the bible doesnt line up to their ideas. Free will again, hes not gonna force worship. He doesnt need anything...

  • @Treniths His wisdom is far beyond our little minds and we cant see the whole picture or things as he does save what is revealed to us through the gospel and scripture and works in our lives. So it rest on his Character and his Father heart & His love. He can easily make a new creation but it shows smthng bout his Character in the way he is doing things. We all have many questions but that isnt a deal breaker for trusting Him. It takes faith but its not blind faith unless one covers their eyes.
