This is the ending from the 'Director's Cut'... which is the only version I've seen.

I'm not sure what all the differences are but it wasn't nearly as bad as I'd been led to believe by the reviews (presumably of the theatrical version).

I actually like this ending better then the theater version, only if it ended at the 3 minute mark with just laurie dieing, H2 was sort of a let down for me, wasn't zombies best work, but this ending to me is more of Rob Zombie's style then the original ending, cause Michael makes a final lash out without the mask, Laurie is extremely fucked up and dies, end it with a sequel, just like the devils rejects, which is by far his best film
