@laura7272 Singing and making melody in your heart is the only example we have of music used in NT worship, so ,though it doesn't say "only sing acappella," to use that as an argument isn't the best logic... We can only go by direct command, example, or necessary inference...
A Capella is not the only type of singing allowed in the Bible, in fact there are many references in Psalms, Song of Solomon and Ecclesiastes that encourage Christians to worship the King with harp, stringed instruments (Psalm 33:2), percussion, and brass (Psalm 150:3).

It's not stated in the bible 'only sing acapella' it's more of a better safe than sorry kind of thing, and tradition.

Not only is A Capella the only type of singing allowed in the bible but its so much more beautiful to listen to
