Jogan is the greatest movie ever made in Bollywood.I have seen it more than 50 times but cannot pretend to have understood it inside out because of complex philosophical and psychological issues brought forth in this film.I shall feel proud to meet any man who claims to understand Deewan-e Ghalib and Jogan.I go into a trance at the first noteof title music.No one in the world could score better music.

Bulo C Rani had also given music in Ranjit's film 'JOGAN' starring Nargis and Dilip Kumar. The Mira bhajans sung by Geeta Roy are still very fresh to listen to.

I am very thankfull and gratefull to have a opportunity to hear such a old and very rare songs.

It is truly tragic as to how some of India's most talented artistes, whose body of work delighted millions, are treated by society and by their own colleagues. A recent example is the popular and talented actress, Nalini Jaywant, who lay dead for several days in her home before her body was discovered. In spite of the fact that she has numerous close relatives in the film industry and that some of her leading men are very much alive , I haven't heard of even a memorial service for her.

So glad you created this tribute video, Ilyas Bhai. There should be a Hall of Fame for all our great music directors. BCR was outstanding in many movies. Apart from others mentioned in your intro, I recall with great fondness several songs from Darogaji(1949). One," Le ja, le ja, le ja, le ja yeh meri nishaani" by Geeta Dutt is an absolute delight ( posted by Suhanee 11 on April 15 last year) for its brisk tune and very clever use of the baansuri. Thank you.

Bulo C.Rani was on par with all the top class music directors of his time.It was sad that he never got enough work and recognition.

His music for film Bilwa Mangal was outstanding too.All the songs sung by C.H.Atma and Suraiya were classic.
