Absolutely blown away by your work; I mean, wow. Literally, wow; so much more feeling in your work then anything I've seen, feels like it means so much, keep it up man (:
@maneli WOW. that's impressive :) but alas, the main issue i see with this statement: you're married, if anyone watches left hands anymore :P couldn't not being able to wear a wedding ring prove somewhat problematic for you???
It's amazing how sound could portray your feeling for something. My guess is that you've tried to portray how moving has affected you and the way it felt through moving to 3 different places. I would love to know the true meaning behind these compositions though :)
@DanielleT192 Very well described but this movement is not about that. The new CD actually has your description as the underlying theme for The Lamaj Movement... moving from place to place constantly under pressure.

Bought your CD about 13 months ago abd I still absolutely love it. It will go down as one of my favorite CDs ever! Any idea of when you will release another?
@Bradbssargdons Thanks for the support! Glad you enjoy it. I'm planning on making a new one and have it ready by the end of the year I hope. Gotta heal up from my injury first.
@MattTubeTV I have been playing for ten years on acoustic and electric with quite a bit of fingerpicking, and this song is still intimidating to me. I think I could probably learn it but it would take awhile.
@maneli i can agree with that, but it also is a matter of how quickly and efficiently you learn. i know some guitarists who practice every day for many years and just cannot get certain techniques down. i fall into this category soemtimes
@maneli see, my problem is writing...i want so bad to write music. i can learn your average song in about a day, and take another day to hammer out the kinks...about 6 hours in total. writing, however...i get a good starting idea, but that's about as far as it gets...
@QuipyGirbo eh, i've taken a bunch of music theory and will continue to (i'm a music major, but not in guitar) so i have a decent grounding in that. maybe it's just a skill that some have and others don't.
@maneli Wow, You worte back! :) Thank you for writing back maneil. I really like your music, I'm ofc not at your level of playing Guitar, but I really love playing, and particular this kind of music. What one of your songs would be the most "easy" to learn if, I will burn for playing Guitar :). ?
@MattTubeTV I try to write back to a lot of comments but can't get to all of them. It really depends on if you'd like to get into a song with two hand tap / percussive techniques or just a straight forward fingerstyle tune. I'd recommend Morning In Adanac or Movement II- Vasat for a fingerstyle one and Cold Arrival or Movement III-Ziur for a upbeat percussive tune. I do offer skype lessons as well if you're interested in going in depth of any of the tunes / techniques.
@maneli I really love them all, but I think the one that I have the best chance of learning right now, wourld be Maneli Jamal - Won 1st place!! Acoustic Glory, if I understand correct it's part of the song Movement II - Vasat but I think the first part is to hard for me to learn alone? I got money for the tab but ohter ways i'm brok, so I think I will try to learn by the tabs first :). Does that sound like a good idea?
@Kiryu394 you make more money selling CDs on YouTube than you do with live gigs. Amplitudes more. Just had an epiphany: If you think about it, musicians being on YouTube is like a worldwide gig. Because I don't care how slow/fast this is. I could SLEEP to this it's so beautiful.
@leatheldarkness123 Have you heard an audio clip that's been sped up before? It's really distorted. There's no way the sound quality could be this clear and be sped up in editing.
Let's say the video was sped up; someone had to record the audio, correct? :)
@jkshoujk Yea. I guess dood. But you do see the choppyness at the beginning? Anyways. Whoever this guy is married to, is one fucking lucky person that they get to hear that all day erry day :] I'd kill for talent like that, Maybe something small like.. a lizard, or something.

This is the one of the coolest sounding acoustic songs I've heard!
I'm a big fan of dark sounding stuff such as this. Very fun to compose as well.
I unfortunately suck at playing so I'll stick with making my horrible rudimentary songs. Hahah.
Keep up the good work!

@maneli I tried bugging them, it was actually this track that made me use a thumb pick for the first time and a couple of days later I came up with the song on youtube called 'the chase'. Thanks for being an inspiration I also forgot what the song was called until today when it came up on youtube as suggestions for myself. You have another subscriber.
Kind regards,
Billy
