  • Yes. It was Tom Baker. I was the Board Account Director on the business at Gold Greenlees Trott. This 1986 commercial was the world's first digital TV advertisement, the images being entirely created on a hard-drive. Martin Lambie-Nairne, who came up with the idea for Spitting Image and now is in charge of the BBC's idents, was the designer and director. This was the beginning of the digital age, longer ago than you might have guessed. Steve
