God created "mankind {or them}." This can indicate that there was a large group (probably outside the garden of Eden), or "mankind" of males and females before Adam & Eve. This would explain how Cain and Abel later got wives.

Don't confuse what the Bible says with what a group of people think it means. There are many different understandings of what the Bible actually says and the symbolism of the divinely inspired records held within. None of the authors of the Bible were around at the beginning so all they know is that God created all these things and at some point in time humans began to be conscious of there surroundings and their mortality. So I say there can indeed be a gap in there that is not recorded.
What if.....The beginning when the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the earth and the time when God said "let there be light" were very far apart in time? What if evolution occurred during that time span. What if the light that God spoke into existence was actually the enlightenment of human consciousness? What if everything else that was "created" after that was actually human discovery as they were mentally able to comprehend these things now? Just sayin!

What you can't disprove is the revelations of the bible, which are slowly coming true. A lot of what is in the bible is meant to sound "scientifically" inaccurate or wrong as a test of faith when the nephilim return and attack the bible on all fronts. Our universe has its own properties created/adjusted by God, and then the bible was made that directly contradicts what we have learned about our universe to see who accepts and rejects god.

I read the New Testament and found it to be a good guide for living - maybe the best. But is the Bible contradictory at points? Absolutely. Can you know that the Bible is "the word of God"? If you mean "know" in any sort of meaningful, conventional sense, absolutely not. And most folks can't discriminate between supernatural faith and literal truth -and that's a problem.

God created "mankind {or them}." This can indicate that there was a large group (probably outside the garden of Eden), or "mankind" of males and females before Adam & Eve. This would explain how Cain and Abel later got wives.
In Genesis chap 2 it says Adam and the rib then Eve.

Don't confuse what the Bible says with what a group of people think it means. There are many different understandings of what the Bible actually says and the symbolism of the divinely inspired records held within. None of the authors of the Bible were around at the beginning so all they know is that God created all these things and at some point in time humans began to be conscious of there surroundings and their mortality. So I say there can indeed be a gap in there that is not recorded.

What you can't disprove is the revelations of the bible, which are slowly coming true. A lot of what is in the bible is meant to sound "scientifically" inaccurate or wrong as a test of faith when the nephilim return and attack the bible on all fronts. Our universe has its own properties created/adjusted by God, and then the bible was made that directly contradicts what we have learned about our universe to see who accepts and rejects god.

I read the New Testament and found it to be a good guide for living - maybe the best. But is the Bible contradictory at points? Absolutely. Can you know that the Bible is "the word of God"? If you mean "know" in any sort of meaningful, conventional sense, absolutely not. And most folks can't discriminate between supernatural faith and literal truth -and that's a problem.
