@Pharmit24 You can't put the data in two dvd's, specially if its an operating system. If its a large game for computer then yes.

Hi. I've burned out a standard .iso image of my friend's windows 7 dvd (i'm guessing torrented and it works i am using windows 7 right now but need a backup) and for some reason. its not booting. My boot priority is set to my cd drive and everything else. Can you help me troubleshoot?

Are u sure that u the image was bootable and u opened it through the correct menus, if the correct menus were not opened it will not be a bootable image.

Turns out the file got corrupted during the rip. I managed to make it boot with a boot image file but then the NTLDR could not be found. Ah well. Thanks for replying to my message.

That is the beauty of power iso it automatically creates one when you open from the open menu.

For games you are better off using a disc mounter, it saves discs, but you would need the full version of power iso or the free program i listed to burn, use a cd/dvd which ever size u need then burn it will work. Like i said i would use a disc mounter i have a video on it.

@DBZMasterFighter if You burn your Game to an ISO File, then mount it using Power ISO and install the game? if it asks you to insert the original disk there is an easy way! download a "NO-DVD-PATCH" for that game and it will work. sorry i know this is like 5 months late but better late than never :D

Are u sure the dvd image that you burned is bootable? Is it under 300mb? Sometimes you will have to unpack the image (winrar) and then burn it. If its over 300mb use the free program.

Ok so i downloaded a game and i have like over 30 .rar files with one .iso file in each. How do i burn/mount it? i still have to extract them all..

The way that file was rared it seems like you only need one. Option 1(use first):Click the first rar file only, then click extract to desktop. It should be one iso, it will extract from the others to make 1 image. Then burn it. Option 2: If not then you will have to extract each iso individually then rebuild the image but this is highly unlikely. At that point i would say that it is a fake, i have never seen that before, but there is a first for everything, but option 1 should work.

yes, if your using power iso make sure to keep it under 300mb if you dont register. I have a registered copy so i can burn any amount. I posted a free program if u need to burn over 300mb and don't want to register to the full version.

if u are using hackintosh, then its probably a toast file change the extension from .toast, to .iso.

Try uninstalling it and deleting the registry files (i have a video on how to enter the registry.) Then try reinstalling it happened to me the first time also, it just had an error setting up, and kept going without me knowing it. Hope this helps.

There is a limit on the unregistered version of 300mb. An xp disc is about 700mb. I put another link to a free one with no limit in the description.

I did everything you did. Yet when the disc was burned, I still got:

"Please eject and re-insert the CD-ROM, select OK and restart application."

What could I possibly be doing wrong here? I am new to Windows altogether, but aren't iso files equivalent to dmg files for Mac? WTF

Try this 1. Put in disc, let in auto-play, remember the drive letter. then click take no action. 2. Open Power ISO select image(shown in video) 3. When u click burn go to burning drive click expand arrow, and select drive that was in step one, click burn. This should solve the problem. Hope this helps!
