Some suggestions:

Cymbals are too high in the mix, they could be turned down a little.

Like some people before me have said, add some fills, they will make the drums feel a little more real.

Other than that, sounding pretty kickass!

it's ok, i think you need to work on drum programing a little more to make it feel real it just sounds too much like you're playing with a drum machine...do more variations on the beat and add some fills...dont have to do like crazy iron maiden play every tom fill but just break it up a little

@melodiccreepingdeath Just write a beat in guitar pro and then export it in MIDI .. start up your for example Cubase ... start the EZ and drag the midi in it ;) and the you can open the mixer and adjust the sound

sup man, you seem to be dam good at this ez drummer and drum processing stuff so i was wondering if you can tell me how you learned to do this or if they are some certain videos on here that helped you out i am having alot of trouble trying to figure this out using cubase 5 and i think most of it is because i am a noob at this...like so much of a noob that i can't even figure out how to make cubase record the drum sounds from the pre made groves in EZ..any help would be greatly appreciated

you might want to throw some mids on the kick and pan the guitars closer to the center of the stereo spectrum the mids on the kick will help make it more distinguished...

i was always told to get rid of low mids then put it through a multi band compressor

no they won't, especially in a metal track. I agree that the eq'ing and compression on the kick is poor, but adding mids is a horrible idea. Mid's make the kick muddy.

The guitars don't need to be panned more towards the center.

turn on the humanizer it sounds like a robot drumming, if uve got the humanizer on it varies the type of hit on each drum and sounds more human. i run it through Cubase 4.

EZDrummer didn't work for me as well, when I was using FLS8..

after I got FLS9, it started working normal, dunno if that was the problem, but you might try it.
