  • Hey can someone tell me what this poem means

Within the peculiar nature of beast lies love and compassion, but in between those factors lies hatred. In the miseries of the land are regret, lust, agony, and pain. Where the sun never shines and there’s always rain. But if you can find that silver dot in the sky, and bury your hatred and pride, you could be the death of Animosity

    please help me out thanks

  • What exactly do you mean by 'irony'? Many, many critics believe that it's no more than a sarcastic response to thwarted expectation.

In Japanese, it directly translates into "skin and muscle", the surface you see and the power hidden beneath it. Thus, the key is distance from what it is saying and what it is implying. - Irony, in this particular poem, does not seem to wholly relate.

  • Well First Line the Title - Dust of Snow, Ironic showing how meaningless beauty is to one who does perceive(leads back to the a runined day..) Its also Ironic as the bird shakes the snow on him it saved a part of the day.. Sarcasm is hinted , saving part of the snow... I am probably wrong but I tried. Nice poem mATE
