My name is Sapphire, I love the sound of the bagpipes. I am of African American descents and I feel like I have a connection with the Irish culture. I just wanted to share that.
I am Polish, moved to UK 7 years ago, living in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, but clearly I'm in the wrong place - Scotland has won my heart, am considering moving up there! - GORGEOUS land, FABULOUS culture and absolutely WONDERFUL and LOVELY P E O P L E.
Visited Scotland twice this year (Edinburgh, Glasgow & Aberdeen) and just really loved & enjoyed it..!! Hats off to you guys, be proud of yourselves!
As per music- love your anthem- GRAND & a real INSPIRATION - very touching, thx 4 sharing
what does Scotland mean to you.... to me it is the reason of my existence, its the reason of my resistance ! its the reason my heart is heavy, its the reason my heart still burns with a passion for the love i have for my country, the love of the land lost, for the land regained. The love for my Nation... my Nationality and the fight for Independence!
i cried watching this scotland is really the most wondeful place there is for the wonderful people and things that come from such a beautiful place such as scotland
I'm only part Scottish, but I still take great pride in one of the greatest nations ever. I plan on visiting when money allows, and of course, respect to the beautiful mation and people of Scotland. The true warriors
Our daughter picked this song as she walked down the hill from the back of the Texas plantation, escorted by her Dad, for her wedding. Incredibly moving!! She chose this song to honor her Scottish Dad, he had no idea, He had a hard time keeping his composure.
A few years ago I lost my father. For some reason I decided after his passing that I wanted to trace my family lineage back to see where we came from. What I found was spectacular and that I came from the beautiful lands of Scotland. Now I cannot get enough about learning about my ancestors and the clan I came from...long live the Scots!!!
Songs written about Scots fighting in battle by people who weren't trying to impress people Vs a jingoistic anti-English song about a 700 year old battle - written a few years ago?
