I'm a Christian. But I don't think real Christianity has anything to do with somebody like Hagee. I don't like the idea, that men like him represent my faith.
Jews have their own beliefs and so have Muslims. A good Christian respects other religions, but Hagee doesn't seem to do so.

I really hope that Obama wins. He is one of few Americans who I sympathize with.
But when I see the agenda of the Republicans and their policy regarding Iran, Iraq and Israel, then this is just laughable. Not just me, but the whole world seems to have great interest in your elections and in your politicians. And my country is not predominantly Muslim, who gave you that idea? 95% of Filipinos are Christian.

I must respectfully disagree with that concept. Americans 50 years ago were more prejudice, more prone to violence and a lot more hateful. The world needed us in WWII and accepted how we were. We did not change, the world did; and when violent people show up we will be ask to again do what we always do. Fight.
If Obama wins then the US will be the first western country led by someone of minority ethnicity. Something no one else would even consider.

Much has changed in America and is one of the most democratic in the western world. But still there are 50 million right-wing Christian extremists, who think they can come to power through democracy. This is something you can't find in any other western country.

Both candidates are lead by faith. That's just obvious. But I have no problem with a leader, who is religious. I'm a religious person myself. I support Obama, because he is a liberal Christian. McCain on the other hand, gets much support in his campaign from radical fundamentalists like Rod Parsley and John Hagee. You are very wrong if you think that McCain is a real secular leader. And by the way, Bush wasn't that influenced by fundamentalism than McCain.

Noted: I actually started as a Hillary supporter (I liked her healthcare plan more), but that is no reason not to celebrate the hallmark of this moment. I don't vote based on race (why I didn't vote for Jackson or Sharpton), but I believe that Obama can put our country back on track in the right direction. Republican policies have been about fear and exclusion and they need to go. We are strong when we are united.
