i'm german and i like this song so much and i want to sing along in the refrain but i dont know why but i just cant to me it appears just so wrong to sing along to such a song with our background =(
i dont know if someone would consider me guilty in any way but i just cant get any of those lines over my lips

@Littythefunbomb Guten Tag, One thing i can say is it was your misguided ancestors who did this, This does not define you or own family. you may feel responsible as a whole for your country but whose country is perfect? I'm from the US so i know even we as much as we try to be perfect no one is, thats just the facts, but that should not make you not enjoy the song its just a song about what happened, its a very good song.
