  • Well done, the speedometer in MPH not KM which means from o to 160 Kilometer.

  • hey hey i've got 0-100 kmph in 12.9 sec with my 1.3 accent what the shit is it

  • 0-60mph in about 7sec. Not bad for such a big car that gets about 30mpg on the highway. It's a gorgeous car and the motor sounds so cool. I wish it weren't a Mitsubishi motor though.

  • Its actually in 6.1 sec 0-60 tested by car and driver. And its not a mitsu engine. Its a Hyundai 3.8 Lambda Engine.

  • Mitsubishi and Hyundai share lots of components and have for decades. The most recent Mitsu Galant also has a 3.8L V6. I bet it's the same motor and I doubt it's a Hyundai motor in a Mitsubishi, but the other way around. That's how it's been for a long time between the two. If it REALLY is a Hyundai motor, I feel more at ease. I hate Mitsubishi in general, with a few select exceptions.

  • yes I know Mitsubishi has 3.8 Engine. But thankfully the 3.3 and 3.8 are both new Lambda Engines from Hyundai :) The only engine they share with mitsubishi is the 2.4 Theta World Engine

  • Just so I understand clearly, are you saying the 3.8L in the Galant is NOT the same 3.8L in the Azera? Or are you saying they are the same, but it's a Hyundai engine?

  • That's right! and wait until the Tau engine comes out. V8. Good luck lexus and Acura...wait.. Acura doesn't have a V8 lol

  • I don't think it's the same 3.8L as the the Mitsu Galant's. Chrysler, Hyundai and Mitsu are all part of GEMA but if anything, I would say this is old Chrysler tech. that Hyundai has updated. In 1990, Chrysler developed the 3.3L and 3.8L V6's for their cars and minivans. Today, the engines for an Azera are 3.3L or 3.8L V6's. Chrysler started it all with the 3.8 (iron block OHV), Mitsu went one way (iron block SOHC) and Hyundai another (aluminum DOHC). One design, three different renditions.

  • I honestly hope you are correct. From my understanding the Chrysler 3.3L and 3.8L V6's were very good engines. Definitely better than that POS Mitsu 3.0L used in an incredible amount of vehicles over many years.

  • The 3.3L and the 3.8L are Hyundai in-house design. Just because they have the same size engine, doesn't mean they all are related.

the GEMA is only valid for engines 1.6L-2.4L engines. Their specific goal to to globally make small engines.

  • Nothing you've said makes sense. Chrysler's 3.3 and 3.8 were designed to replace the Mitsubishi 3.0, and the Chrysler engines are in no way related to any Hyundai engine at all.

  • heh, it doesn't get 30mph on the highway... our average (and it's mostly a freeway car) is 21mpg. a little disappointing, but it is still an awesome car for an awesome price.

  • Well if you drive it like this all the time no wonder! LOL It wouldn't surprise me if it was capable of 30mpg highway though. GM's 3.8L is capable of that and had been used for a very long time.

  • haha, it's my mom's car. drives it to work everyday. she doesnt drive like me ;)

  • It's faster then that.

  • is it 3.3L or 3.8?

  • 3.8l dohc v6 263hp 255ft-lbs torque :)

  • You can always make the video again! For a giant land barge, it did that pretty swiftly!

  • Hyundai has come a very long way..Thay are great cars if it is the class you are looking in.
