BUT most of vegans(vegitarians) miss one big point in my eyes ... they are what they are now, cuz of their ancestors eating everything their stomach could use... fish and flesh supported brain development BIIIG time.

i believe that the key here is that other carnivores kill the animals they eat. 99% of humans remove themselves from the actual slaughter and view meat as a mere commodity.

Isn't this just natural? Steve Backster showed that plants have feelings too. Why should I have preferential treatment for animals? But, I have to admit, I feel better about eating a watermelon than a whale. I will have to think about this.

Just because something else acts cruelly, you shouldn't either especially since you are in a different context than a meat eating animal. You have the physical and mental capability to go vegetarian. Most of those other animals lack the physical ability and all lack the mental. I would like to see the arguments that plants have feelings too. I find this to be a dubious proposition.
is it 'just natural' to live in a closed in area that never sees the day of light? i WOULDN'T be so opposed if it was free range, but the reality is: 98.97% is not.
