@Iadafa137 Lyn? Awesome? Those are 2 words that i will never use in the same sentence. Her str when she was a level 20 blade lord was only 10. Her speed was 25. Her skill was 13.

She could not hit, or sometimes even hurt the enemies i sent her at. Hector was (naturally) the best out of the 3 of them. Capped his str, speed, skill, and defence.

@nv88 Well, even if there is 1 percent chance to hit... there is still a chance to hit. And Lyn's defence is definately one of her weak spots...

She's like the oppisite of Hector. She has skill and speed, while Hector has strength and defence. Lyn avoids being hit alot, Hector can just tank the hits.

@ShadowdaHedgie11 Her strength was freaking horrendous as well only 10 for a 20/20 and her Skill was only 12 I was like =_= Hector is my favorite lord I mean you might need to use 1 maybe 2 Secret Books on him but he does his job. Still Lyn is at least better than Failwood but really FE7's Lords ugh why are we forced to use them =_= (exception of course is Hector)

@nv88 10 is fairly normal for Lyn's strength. you were unlucky with skill, though, and lucky with Hector. Usually Hector's skill stays around 12ish til he is promoted, and Lyn usually has a least 17, usually 19 or 20 before being promoted.

@nv88 Put it this way, I have only see Lyn not max out her speed and skill ONCE. Speed was 19, skill was 18. Hector is usually pretty awesome, maxing out his strength and getting at least 14 defence.

Eliwood however just fails... he will very rarely max out speed or skill, but only one. Promoting him doesn't really help. I usually leave him behind to protect the tent.

@ShadowdaHedgie11 I bench Eliwood at the earliest opportunity he's lvl 1 when he promotes and is really just a glorified pack mule. I've never had much luck with Lyn at least in the Skill and Strength department which is part of the reason I bench her alongside Failwood. Hector generally is always a beast who needs some Stat help in certain areas but even getting RNG screwed still maintains Tank status and can put the hurting on anything practically (provided he doesn't miss)

@nv88 Lyn isn't meant to be that strong, she's meant to be a quick little speedster, used to chip some of the tougher enemies down for someone else to finish off. I use Eliwood until he's level 20 so in the missions where I have to use him he can at least defend himself, but apart from that...

The Swordmasters in FE7 are just horrible in general which is a shame because Swordmasters are actually pretty fun to use in other FE games. I mean I can't think of too many lords in FE that I actually like using but FE7 probably has my least favorite Lords still one of my fav FE games though ironically enough

@nv88 The main selling point to a swordmaster is the high speed and crit boost. They don't exactly hit very hard though, they will have trouble killing a unit in one turn, even if they do get a critical.

@ShadowdaHedgie11 Except you look at Swordmasters like Rutger and Joshua and they DO kill things (granted in Joshua's case there's no excuse for him not to be a beast since it is FE8). I get the whole point of Swordmasters I really do but if you're gonna make 1 a Lord you could have at least made it one worth using. How nice that you don't get hit 99% of the time but if you EVER take a single hit you'll either die or be close to death. Not exactly something that appeals to me personally.

@ShadowdaHedgie11 FE players got a thing for characters with Vaginas? XD I don't know I think I just have terrible luck with female Swordsmasters when I compare Marisa and Joshua in FE8 my Joshua always Maxes Strength, Speed, Skill with decent luck. Marisa usually gets the Speed, Skill, Luck but her strength is naturally terrible (even by FE8 standards). Rutger still remains my fav SM since he gets the 3 SM stats but get Strength as well (even with FE6's horrific RNG)

@zelfana Not really. Berserkers came in all shapes and sizes, just like the common soldiers. A Berserker is just someone who tends to ignore their injuries to deal as much damage tot he enemy as possible. Hence they tend to have more vitality, but less defenses, with some of the strongest attacks. They were also usually the first ones dead in a battle. Besides, just cause someone is more lean then ripped doesn't mean their any less strong.

a properlyl trained light or middle weight fighter may very well own the heavy weight, but the heavy weight is still probably going to hit harder. Some people do simply have better genes and more compact muscle though.

@waldoman7 True enough. There is also genes that essentially govern how quickly you gain muscle. In my fitness class, their are a few people, myself included, who only have to do something a few times in one week before we're already increasing the weight of it, and others who can't increase the weight for entire months at a time. Of course then we've also got people who don't seem to have to do anything and they're still physically stronger then the rest of us, no matter what we do.

@waldoman7 Well, I'm a fairly average looking guy. Nothing out of the ordinary about me. Fairly muscular build, and only because I don't have to do too much to gain the muscle, an average height, and a common hair colour, and length. I don't even dress out of the ordinary. Just your typical generic person. My only redeeming quality is my above average IQ, which is countered by a lazy streak, and a never ending boredom.
