if you have "clone" technology available (as you do in EVE), and therefore have the survival problem solved...then the whole thing revolves around the "Life Quality Problem"....that!!!... never get's solved....as there is not such thing as life of "enough" quality.

There is another problem on thop of that. Making a clone of a clone and a clone of that clone ETC .... eventually the D.N.A. begins to degrade and becomes uncopiable which means no more immortality.

Actually this one's eliminated XD The clones aren't clones of anyone actually. They're just.. kind of null things. Humanoid lumps of malleable flesh that only take form when the snapshot imprint from a killed capsuleer is placed upon it like a mould. They aren't cloning clones and clones, they're clone base templates that never change.

Only Capsuleers have free access to clone-based immortality. Some NPC characters do, but they're extremely rare, both for in-story legal reasons and the portability limitations of the technology, not to mention the obscene costs of clone maintenance.

99.9% (quite literally) of the inhabitants of New Eden are as mortal as you or I. Which is why the incident at the start of this video was so horrific.

As for the video.. nice work, but the C&C video excerpts.. could have been better deployed.

Armor versus highexplosive torpedoes with a nuclear warhead? ..... Bye bye armor!.. Lasers with mainly heat damage and ofcourse the deadly EM against a harderned shield? The shield will absorb and dissapear ofcourse but also regenerate just as fast again. The large amarrian low tech weapons and ships will not stand a chance against the electronic warfare and missiles of the state.
