this is my dream guitar in my dream finish man i hope i get one someday.id rather play a prs then any other guitar in the world.i know i loved my dad's till it was stolen after dad's death by a greedy wife that took him for everything.still this man holds my dream in his hand.
somethg in davey's playing reminds me of Derek Trucks, the way he attacks his vibrato i guess is what i am hearing..how do these amps stand up to the new mesa amps, like the trans atlantic, and the lonestar series and the tri-rectifier..
i just came here to say that i had a dream where i owned an acoustic prs guitar that was nylon strings and had 8 strings. i think that's something to get started on. with or without nylon is fine, but i don't even use nylon and my dream was pretty specific in detail so maybe it's best to stick with that
The guitar I really dig, the amp not so much. It's just too damn expensive for a 'normal' gigging musician. On the other hand, I have a '94 Vibroking, that I bought new for $1500(which was ALOT of coin then) but it's the only amp I'll ever need for studio or live. Front end it with pedals, favor to taste and there you go. Done.
@jasonspell The retail price per the 2011 list is between $1649-1999 WITHOUT a speaker cabinet for the 2-channel amps. So the answer is Yes. But's it's academic now anyway, because I've sold the VK since my comment was written and went to a Zinky Supro Tremolectric. Take care.
@cnnre2005, I guess my problem is, I don't have cheap amps or a POS Jackson Warrior, not much of a problem then is it? Sounds like your problem is you have a guitar center addiction, and don't know where to find the good s@#*
Lol, it sounds as my cheap amp with my jackson warrior, if you're not Santana then is stupid to spend that amount of money on this stuff, besides a Boss pedal makes the work.
@cnnre2005 This Amp is obviously not for "THE METAL" When you're ready for a real Metal Amp, Check out the Hughes and Kettner Coreblade. Thats what I use for my High Gain Dethcore. Best of luck on your musical journey.
Sorry, but I just can't understand the big deal behind this guy.

Everything about this vid is awesome, excepting of course the giant amount of fabric missing from Davy's shirt.
Beautiful finish on the Guitar as well.

@dennisl2008 So, your $1500 dollar amp was fine, but THIS $1500 amp is too expensive? Huh?

That Amp Is So Delicious, I said it on the SC58 Vid but I'll say it again. So Creamy, So Sparkly. Chocolatey and Robust!
