My brother has a Master's degree. He's going in as an enlisted cook though, bc he owes a Hell of a lot of money in student loans. He wanted to go officer, b.u.t. the military forbids it as long as he's in collections so he's stuck enlisted. The recruiter told him once he finishes AIT 2 request 2 go Warrant. My q. how realistic is it 4 a brand new E4/Specialist to immediately go Warrant after he's thru w/ his AIT training & once he's been stationed at his new base. Thanks.
Nice video. I have 8 years active duty Air Force and am currently entering my 7th year in the Air Guard...I wish the Air Force would reinstate this program.
I m not sure if i missed this but why are you potraying Warrant Officer's as Battlefield in the bush leaders ? Not all of them Carry M16's as infantry in the woods.
There are Pilots and Military Intelligence Officers also. My dad was E7 before he went to Chief Warrant Officer. He skipped W1 and went right on too CW2 and retired as a CW3 with CW4 training and offer to stay in 3 more years.
Because the Texas National Guard conducts the course, but it is for both Army Reserve and Army National Guard Soldiers. And yes, it is a TXNG Video with all TXARNG members, but only because last years class had no USAR soldiers. Thanks for the question.
Nice - I had no idea you could attend the Warrant Commissioning program thru the Texas national guard. Having the video split in 1/2 is a bit awkward, though.

Which do you belong to, the reserve or the guard?

Why does this say 'Texas Reserve' when it is a 'Texas National Guard' video?
