these guys are just awesome...to me they are one of the best christian band ever...so unique...they could have made loads of millions if they were in secular world..but i knw God has even greater and better reward for them...so sad they are breaking up

I have bad news. They're going to be breaking up this fall. These guys are my FAVORITE CHRISTIAN band! The good news is that they will make one more album before splitting up. Thank you David Crowder Band for giving us 15 years of incredible music and an even stronger love for God!

@3Blue3Moon3 It's not foolish at all. If anyone is "the fool," it is the religious person for believing in things without evidence. As for better uses of one's time than religion, right off the top of my head, I can think of: donating money to the needy, working to end injustice and oppression, looking at art, listening to music, enjoying friendship, love and life. These are all things that are immensely more useful than religion, because they are real, which religion can never be.

I think I found my kind of praise and worship and my praise and worship band. I listened to around five or six songs on this album and I love it. The thing I love about it is that it has the sound to appeal to the Christian Rock fan. The songs have a drive to them and David Crowder's edgy vocals help to add to the flavor. Not many praise/worship/CCM artist that I like, (mostly only liking the edgy songs by them). I love Surrender by Seventh Day Slumber For example. So yah Love this album so far.
I fail to see how we "waste our lives" with him. We all have a God who loves us and wants to make our lives as amazing as possible. Everything is meaningless apart from God. Since we know God and his amazing works, life is just amazing. Sure there are hard times, but I cant think of a better life then to just be serving God! Living without God is a waste of a life if you ask me! We are all called to live in a way to please god, and if we are pleasing to god, what has been wasted?
m2robert... please find me one thing wrong with living a life with morals, treating yourself and others with respect, showing love and compassion to all... the list goes on and on. I hate saying this (and not that it's in anyway true) but... even if God never exhisted... I would be happy with the way I lived my life serving others rather than myself. You see, living a life for Christ benefits all. so in no way is it a waste.

Morality does not come from religion, religious moral principles are universal human principles that various religions have appropriated and tried to claim for themselves. What's worse is that people who claim that claims that morality comes from religion imply that people do good things only out of the fear of hell and the desire for heaven, essentially out of cowardice and greed.

And I'm talking about the moral standards of maintaining a pure mind and body, being conscience of the words that come out of my mouth and guarding the thoughts that enter my mind, about not being involved in sex or drugs or alcohol, about respect for others and myself... I could go on for a while. I'm aware that others, who are not Bible believing, may have similar morals... But I'm living by the morals givin in God's word and by Jesus :)

People will have a revelation if they by faith CRY OUT to God or if someone who is walking in the presence of God comes and dumps the Holy Spirit into their hearts, welcoming them into fellowship with Him and helping them experience what they were blind to before.
