  • Fantastic, and better live

  • I didn't like this song when I first heard it, but I love it now!

  • Man, probably my absolute favorite song of his! And I love a lot of his stuff! Just so beautiful. <3Jeremy Fisher

  • Amazing. like the new bob dylan, love Canadian musicians though, keep it up dude

  • I love this song so much <3

  • yea i doo see a lot of resemblence with Bob Dylan, but not all his songs rlly doo

  • If you dont stand for something you will fall for anything - jeremy fisher

You gotta stand for something or you'll fall for anything- the script- fall for anything

is this a popular saying, id never really heard it before, and now ive heard it twice in 1 day

  • exactly what i thought

  • @seetz2 It's a quote by Malcolm X. "If you don't stand for something you will fall for anything."

  • Who cares if he reminds anyone of dylan. Enjoy the music.

  • These lyrics are so profound, which is rare in the world of Miley Cyrus' "Party in the USA"

  • I don't understand what everybody is talking about, he sounds like Jeremy Fisher to me... =)

  • this song is definitely influenced by Bob Dylan. But a lot of his stuff isn't.

  • he looks like bob dylan because of the guitar and harmonica. I don't understand why people immediatly compare someone to Dylan because of guitar stuff and harmonica.

I really like Jeremy's music :D but he's nothing like bob dylan:-)

  • I agree completely...people are so quick to compare new artists to Dylan when in actuality they sound nothing like the guy. People forget how unique Bob Dylan is.

Personally, and I think this is a much more accurate comparison, Jeremy Fisher reminds me of Paul Simon's solo stuff. Check out the Graceland Album for those that aren't familiar. Scar that never heals especially is alot like paul...the upbeat melody and the lyrics and such.

  • In all fairness, I think the reason so many people compare him to Dylan is because he DOES sound like him at times (and looks a bit like him as well). It depends on the song though. On "Jolene" he sounds like Simon & Garfunkel with the double-tracked vocals. On "Scar That Never Heals" he sounds like Simon & Garfunkel backed by the Violent Femmes. The guy's a chameleon, really.

  • I liked this song better on the "let it shine album"... It was slowed down too much on blue monday, great song none the less.

  • oh em gee i remember singing this song for him with my elementary school chior! hes great! oh my i had a big crush on him bak then xP him and Melanie Doane are both really great!

  • can you say that reminds me of bob dylan!

  • Great message

  • its so easy to fall for things some time, Obama winning has played with my psycy big time, I started thinking maybe this american freedom bs was actually real, and was considering joining the canadian forces to fight for "our" side, But no matter what, I Ain't gonna fight in no rich mans war, I don't care how bad things get

  • good jop boy

  • he sounds like Bob Dylan

    and looks the part too

    amazing

  • I saw him perform in Calgary l;astnight and im telling all of you....This kid is going to be a star!!!!! Amazing performance and "fall for anything" is so true!!!!

  • all of his songs are mostly the truth, I don't know how he gets it, but each describes something someone has gone through and most of us can relate to it. he has talent... and we need more heartly people like him...

  • Just saw him perform this song in concert. His band was excellent and great performance. He was the opening act for The Proclaimers. This man has talent.

  • i think i just found my future husband ♥ he's amazing!!:)

  • Dylan...who wouldn't want to be compared to one of the greatest song writers of all time.

  • he's great! thanks for the acoustic stuff!

  • the new dylan

  • "Will the Devil pay your tab

and take you home with him?"

What a great line. This stuff is just so fine. How come all the good folk/vocal artists come from The Great White North, eh?
