Thanks for the review, guys! I've been debating on whether to make this my son's (4) first movie... he doesn't have much patience for sitting still through a movie, but he might get into this one. Either way, we, the 'rents, are going to see it & buy it! ;)
It seemed like Daddy Clay's eyes spent an inordinate amount of time wandering off to "watch the road ahead" - (maybe he was nervous that the driver might crash his beloved mini-van???)
Unfortunately, we're going to wait to see this one... WHY?? we've been going to the movies that are FREE at Regal Cinemas this summer.
the 10am movie time is also great for my youngest, who is 4... she's usually ready for a snack about that time and she can snack and watch the movie and sit through the whole thing well.
We saw the Veggie Tales Movie, Bee Movie... and we're going to be going to more this summer... great for families looking to save money... tickets cost a lot.
My sister in law took my 2 year old son to see it. I'm sure he didn't get the movie at all, but she said he enjoyed watching it. He also has a fascination with robots at the moment, so that helped keep him entertained.
Took my 6 year old and my 3 year old to see it yesterday. They both loved it. My three year old sat still for the whole movie and they just laughed the whole time. I thought I would get different reactions from each of them but they seemed to both be interested in the same parts.

I will see it when it comes on dvd. =) I think it would fly over many adults heads too. They would not see anything beyond this cute little robot.
