@MiCHAELibObPeb You must be rich or can catch crappies any day you want.

I fish for food and sport, for the food aspect I can keep them and freeze them and eat them another day because you never know if you will do that good again. I can always release the next trip out if I do. For the sport aspect obviously these fish are stunted at a paper cut 9in. so a few cleaned out will only help.

hey i just started ice fishing last year my names ryan and im 16 and i want to ask what do you guys prefer for ice fishing for blue gill and bass...like what would be the best setup for me? i have a vexlair 8 power pack and i have a couple rod and reel combos but what kind of stuff should i look out for...what are some good jigs and stuff i should try?

I live in maine we catch a lot of black crappie had the biggest crappie there at 1 lb 59oz would one 100 bucks and a trophie but i wasnt in the adult division ha the state record for black crappie is about 3 lbs where i live
