great price on actionhobbies it's £25 with a mask, speedloader and BBs BUT there's been lots of faults with the guns so that's why they're so cheap and I don't want to waste even £25 if it doesn't work but if it did work then 25 quid is a really good price.
@damienCp1 this was done over a year ago. I now attend professional Airsoft events, have several RIF's, my own amazing team that continually surprise me, and am trained in some of the latest CQB tactics.
I also have a greater understanding, hence the updated video description.
@acfjames CQB is my airsoft environment. I have been trained by professionals with CQB experience, and with some of the latest CQB tactics.
Plus, you dont "camp" in airsoft, neither are you meant to camp. You tactically move from cover to cover securing as many flanks as you and your group can muster, also, never try and take OR hold anywhere alone, most tactics take atleast 4 people, and should be done with up to 8 depending on what it is. Airsoft is not about camping, its about combat.

The aim of any firefight is to put an equal or greater amount of fire to the enemy to suppress, then use aimed shots to take them out. I am guessing you got your "tactics" from noobsofting 101?

yo steve i got this gun kicks arse i can hit a 3 inch target from about 80 or more feet away i just need to adjust the hop up slighltly better and get a tack vest and side arm then ill be all set for skirmishing
@fatpickel First, make sure everything is connected properly, make sure battery has a full charge, put the battery in the gun connect the connectors, take the gun off safe, and let rip
@AIRSOFTandskate Long enough for most CQB and woodland skirmishes. urban sites (aka streets and buildings (and sometimes woodland mixed in)) it probably will not do well in.
Remember, dont treat it like an LMG, short controlled bursts if using auto, just like any other rifle, and it should last until you get UKARA.
Idiots think guns are unreliable because they treat them like shit. If they want a spray and pray gun, they should go for classic army, their budget guns are built for those people, gearboxes in them are super durable!

I'm a backgarden skirmisher (aka in woods with mates), and I bought 1 to c wat it was like. Only 4th gun but good wait to it, although unbalanced, fps good for off site skirmishing, sight good if put red dot at end, fairly sturdy. I got quick charger so my battery charges in half an hour. Instead of that 12 hour crap.
@jammynoscoper Takes a few skirmishes for the gearbox and all to settle in, but 3rd skirmish it started firing at 320FPS, considering CQB site limits are 328FPS, im quite lucky.
That was yesterday, and its decently accurate aswell.
No BB drift (its as accurate as the perseon who is firing)

I need a lot of help with the fixing of it. can you help me out? i got it cheap from actionhobbies, and i thought i could fix it. but nothing i do seems to be working. i pull the trigger and nothing happens. how exactly did you guys do it?
@AirsoftSteveCope yeah, i've done all that. battery charged for about 6 hours. its in auto-mode, and fully loaded with bbs. altho it should still work without bb's in it. you said your friends gun had a fault with it. has it been fixed yet? and what was it doing before the fix?
@shadowblackmagic Odd. On the problem my friend had, the selector switch was stuck. There wasnt any other faults... what id say is you might have a faulty battery.

@AirsoftSteveCope Im aware of our own gun laws. You can purchase Japanese Make guns, Two-Toned at the ready for those not yet UKARA Registered. I have heard of Palco. They rebrand guns and sel them with Say.. A mask for a dearer price. in this case it copes the BE Xm8. The gun IS fail. It has a plastic gearbox. Dont even plan softing with this. Spare yourself the embarresment of a clear gun. Where people can see the Fail gearbox.

Read description and watch video fully... the selector switch is broken on SOME guns due to a fault with a spring, easy way to fix it is to apply lubricant (Not WD40) or unscrew it a bit should work then
If you take it apart you risk breaking the gun if you are not VERY carefull

Got the gun, its really great, just the one problem I have is the battery keeps cutting out, I take it out, charge it up, plug it in and nothing happens, the battery just tends to overheat when its plugged in :/
@mortalsatsuma Thats strange... It needs to be charged for several hours, when you plug the battery into the gun, make sure the wires go inbetween the front 2 prongs at the front of the gun

@mortalsatsuma Was using it in a skirmish... 2 10 to 15 minute games later... battery dies... they have quick chargers at the site i play at, so 10 min later, back in the fight, 2 games later, back out of the fight

It's not a uk law to have max fps that low! At my closest site all aeg and pistols must be max of 350fps, semi-auto sniper rifles 375fps and bolt-action sniper rifles 450 fps! For e.g the warrior l96 can be bought in two tone and shoots 450fps and you don't need ukara for that!
wow. 350 fps with .12? Thats just lowquality. 280 fps with .20 ? dude save your money and get a sniper with 450 fps with .20's and stick to non-clear guns they suck. Unless you live in that place where they only sell clear ones.
@dragonhunter6627 UK laws ban all AEG or Gas airsoft guns over 356FPS, I would need a UKARA registered skirmisher licence to purchase non clear or 2 tone guns, and I dont have tons of money to spend or i would have got a 2 toned Tokyo Mauri P-90.

Also, 400FPS revolvers are legal in SOME events, but not all

@rwaqpt Yeah comes with battery and charger (for america), but actionhobbies includes a cable and adapter and plug for UK mains.
You just plug the battery into the cable from the adapter.
Id suggest getting a set of safety gogles from there aswell, since the 'face mask' it has is utter bullocks and is made of chicken wire and garbage bins

@rwaqpt In airsoft guns differ not from what there based on, but what make they are.
For instance, Palco Sports is one of Americas better brands, whilst over here, the popular choices are either Tokyo Mauri (TM) or SRC (dont know what that stands for).
also with regard to the lubricant for the gun i would use Abbey Silicon Oil, WD40 is heavy duty Metal lubricant

@TheHarvey234 If you have no UKARA, and a budget between 100-200 quid, the best bet would be to get one of the many clear m4's there is...
They are a solid gun, good for any area, and once you get UKARA, you can replace most of the body with non clear bits..
Plus the amount of customisation you can do with the m4 is amazing.

Do you have to buy a special charger for UK plug? Also what diffrence between o.2 and 0.12 bb's?

@MrMaxGibbo Action Hobbies includes a UK adapter for it.
0.2 is heavier than 0.12, and most sites chrono and require you to use .2 in rifles.

I'm a backgarden skirmisher (aka in woods with mates), and I bought 1 to c wat it was like. Only 4th gun but good wait to it, although unbalanced, fps good for off site skirmishing, sight good if put red dot at end, fairly sturdy. I got quick charger so my battery charges in half an hour. Instead of that 12 hour crap.

@jammynoscoper Takes a few skirmishes for the gearbox and all to settle in, but 3rd skirmish it started firing at 320FPS, considering CQB site limits are 328FPS, im quite lucky.
That was yesterday, and its decently accurate aswell.
No BB drift (its as accurate as the perseon who is firing)

It shoots now at 320 FPS, it takes time for the mechanics to settle in.

250 fps - .12 pellets

this is wrong, it's 350 and 250 respectively.

I need a lot of help with the fixing of it. can you help me out? i got it cheap from actionhobbies, and i thought i could fix it. but nothing i do seems to be working. i pull the trigger and nothing happens. how exactly did you guys do it?

@shadowblackmagic on the side should be a small switch with 3 settings.
You got to put it on semi or auto, otherwise its on safe mode and you wont be able to pull the trigger.

ALSO make sure the battery is charged!

@AirsoftSteveCope yeah, i've done all that. battery charged for about 6 hours. its in auto-mode, and fully loaded with bbs. altho it should still work without bb's in it. you said your friends gun had a fault with it. has it been fixed yet? and what was it doing before the fix?

@shadowblackmagic Odd. On the problem my friend had, the selector switch was stuck. There wasnt any other faults... what id say is you might have a faulty battery.

@AirsoftSteveCope well how did you know it was the selector switch? when he pulled the trigger before you fixed it, did anything happen? and i suspected it may of been the battery.

@shadowblackmagic Becuase the trigger would not budge, neither did the selector... downside to that fix though, the selector keeps going to auto because of the vibrations from the gun.

It was only a low price because of some of the guns having faults.

@AirsoftSteveCope Im aware of our own gun laws. You can purchase Japanese Make guns, Two-Toned at the ready for those not yet UKARA Registered. I have heard of Palco. They rebrand guns and sel them with Say.. A mask for a dearer price. in this case it copes the BE Xm8. The gun IS fail. It has a plastic gearbox. Dont even plan softing with this. Spare yourself the embarresment of a clear gun. Where people can see the Fail gearbox.

Read description and watch video fully... the selector switch is broken on SOME guns due to a fault with a spring, easy way to fix it is to apply lubricant (Not WD40) or unscrew it a bit should work then
If you take it apart you risk breaking the gun if you are not VERY carefull

@theLEMONcitrus Let me guess, you dont know UK airsoft laws and you obviously have never fired this gun. Top limit for airsoft automatic guns is 350FPS, this chronod with a bad battery at 260-270 FPS average, wich isnt bad there is ALOT worse. Also, before you insult it more... this gun was made in America ;p So why u insulting your own country's guns lol

@John4TehLuLz When the battery wears down it makes the gun fire pellets slower.
So if not alot of power is getting from the battery to the gun, that does affect ROF but also FPS.
Trust me on that ive had this gun run out of battery mid battle, the pellets tend to slow down alot when it does

Got the gun, its really great, just the one problem I have is the battery keeps cutting out, I take it out, charge it up, plug it in and nothing happens, the battery just tends to overheat when its plugged in :/

@mortalsatsuma Thats strange... It needs to be charged for several hours, when you plug the battery into the gun, make sure the wires go inbetween the front 2 prongs at the front of the gun

@mortalsatsuma Was using it in a skirmish... 2 10 to 15 minute games later... battery dies... they have quick chargers at the site i play at, so 10 min later, back in the fight, 2 games later, back out of the fight

It's not a uk law to have max fps that low! At my closest site all aeg and pistols must be max of 350fps, semi-auto sniper rifles 375fps and bolt-action sniper rifles 450 fps! For e.g the warrior l96 can be bought in two tone and shoots 450fps and you don't need ukara for that!

wow. 350 fps with .12? Thats just lowquality. 280 fps with .20 ? dude save your money and get a sniper with 450 fps with .20's and stick to non-clear guns they suck. Unless you live in that place where they only sell clear ones.

@dragonhunter6627 UK laws ban all AEG or Gas airsoft guns over 356FPS, I would need a UKARA registered skirmisher licence to purchase non clear or 2 tone guns, and I dont have tons of money to spend or i would have got a 2 toned Tokyo Mauri P-90.

Also, 400FPS revolvers are legal in SOME events, but not all

@dragonhunter6627 There is limitations on the UK skirmish sites like there is in America m8 1 woodland field has a limit of 370FPS and there CQB site has a limite of 330FPS so a 450 FPS airsoft sniper rifle would not be alowed but that vaires from site to site

@rwaqpt Oh yeah it is dude, watch my palco fp8 damage video, its a mean ass gun, and its only £35.
It has 400 round magazine and fits both .2 and .12 rounds (only use .2 at skirmishes)
As I say in the video there is a problem with some of them but a simple fix is to use lubricant, not WD40, or to loosen the screw on the selector

My first video got alot of bad comments from 2 people that decided they had nothing to do better than insult someone. @rwaqpt Yeah comes with battery and charger (for america), but actionhobbies includes a cable and adapter and plug for UK mains.
You just plug the battery into the cable from the adapter.
Id suggest getting a set of safety gogles from there aswell, since the 'face mask' it has is utter bullocks and is made of chicken wire and garbage bins

@AirsoftSteveCope lol but thnx for the info on the charger XD and yh i have been before and i had to get all this equipment cuz they ran out of rentals :-/ so i got overalls and a mask XD i painted my mask cuz i got bored but thts another story :-P and yh i borrowed my mates mp5. just done research on this gun and the mp5 and this gun are made by the same people - Heckler & Koch a small fire arms company. the xm8 also tried to replace the americas fire arms but the contract fell thru. For instance, Palco Sports is one of Americas better brands, whilst over here, the popular choices are either Tokyo Mauri (TM) or SRC (dont know what that stands for).
They are, however, very expensive.
