That is a very good question. It sounds like standard 440 tuning with the low e string an octive below c..  However,, this man is so brilliant who am I to say.

absolutly beautiful, I first met doyle in fresno ca, 1990s at charlie daniels music I was blew away then even more now, He the same person now as was then very humble and plays with his heart. he did an album years ago alone with god I believe was the name. I believe he is fulfilling his calling. keep on picking Doyle

I am more amazed each time by his outstanding ability & humble attitude, always willing to share & never too busy & always encouraging you to do your best with your talents. What an amazing Grandpa, Father, Husband, Brother, Friend & Real Christian. His concert this year in Bastrop, TX was absoulately the tops-best-outstanding & great room acoustics to boot. It's in a book called "Dykesology" which has been out-of-print for some time and is really hard to come across. Check stores, the internet, eBay, etc... It seems every once in a while I'll hear about someone getting a copy somewhere. Good luck, man. :)
