I think it's quite nice cover. At least you're the one who tried to add something by yourself to this great solo - it's not ultra-good, but still - enjoyed listening it. It's nice to see something different from hundreds of covers played by one and only one tab. The end could be really great IMHO, but it lacked that misterious thing that would make it wonderful. Solid piece of playing tho, KUTGW! Added to my favs :)

Yours is one of the BEST renditions of this solo. It is pretty independent of the original, however, in a good sense. Wherever I have used the term "independent" it is sarcastic, hope they get the point. Yours is too good! Good! Best!

Hang in there dude , your technique is there you just have to work on the phrasing. I personally find Gilmour's phrasing impeccable & hard to grasp. As has been alluded to by others - less is more!

Sorry, but I hated it. Clearly this guy has chops, but to me all of the emotion Gilmour puts into this solo was stripped out in this version (despite the 'emotional' faces he makes while playing). Too many notes, too non-cohesive. That's the beauty of Gilmour, he can play very few notes and make your hair stand on end because of his BEAUTIFUL phrasing and control. I know this guy isn't trying to replicate Gilmour's solo, but I just didn't like this version.

Ok, so I checked out Comfortably Numb - I didn't like it any better. I'm not saying you're a bad player, that's not the case at all. It's just not my cup of tea. I think the problem I have is that the solo isn't even recognizable - I can appreciate somebody else's creative spin on a solo, but without the background music (and possibly even with) I wouldn't even know it was Comfortably Numb. Nice playing though!

sorry man, but that is just an insult to pink floyd, and David Gilmour. You don't have it close at all, you are supposed to make songs your own, but you're supposed to know what song you're listening to.

I think Gilmour is more insulted by all those wanabe Pink Floyd copy-pasting his song than by someone who put his personal touch in the tune.

When i come on youtube and check Time solo covers, i'd rather see someone like Swanner than someone with no personal style at all.

Anyway, that version of Time is bt far the best on youtube.
