I didn't like this much when I first heard it in Brawl.

Last year I played Fire Emblem: Rekka No Ken on VBA and I heard this in the game I instantly loved it and I now fully know the awesomeness that is FIRE EMBLEM!!!

After I played a bunch of Fire Emblem games, including the oringal, I tryed out Marth again in brawl (I usually arn't too good with him.) and I dominated! I said "I CHANNEL THE SPIRIT OF THE FIRE EMBLEM!" and from that point on I rock with Marth! (Already rock with Ike! xD)

@Kojain lol there's a hilarious way to trick the final boss. Just have a summoner go into the battle and summon a Phantom. Since it only has 1 hp, the boss will always go for it XD then u can bash him with all you've got.

The way they could work is by having the player select the Tactician Mark on the player select screen. @PikminWarrior Ephraim uses Lances. He was as hard to kill as an heavily-armored Knight and yet had at least the movement and Speed of a Soldier before promotion. After his promotion, however, he gains a horse and gets an even more ridiculous mobility for his stats. Hector (Who uses Axes), him and Ike are *arguably* the most broken Lords in the Fire Emblem series. But I agree, except for Micaiah, there are no main characters using Magic in the series. I still like Marth and Roy though.

Well yeah I know who Ephraim is, he could work too. Sacred Stones was one of the most minor games in the series though so I think the others might be more probable, but who knows, that's arguable (Don't get me wrong, I've played it to pieces). Marth and Ike definitely need to stay, since they star in two games.

@PikminWarrior Wow, I'm sorry, I misread, I thought that you were talking about the next Fire Emblem game, not the next SSB. The problem with Mages is that they would need to be at least able to defend themselves at close range. Unfortunately, they can't in the Fire Emblem series, so making a moveset working at "melee combat range" would be kind of difficult. Also if they make them as strong but frail long-range attacker, of course, everybody will always target them first...
