ok I may sound like a total nerd, but it's believed that T-rex like modern birds of prey, may have mated for life. So when the first T-rex was killed, it's mate responed to a call for help and tried to eat you for taking away it's...well booty call! Guess it's obvious, I'm a huge dinosaur fan..and I'm a girl, how bout that!
