I adopted Gimley from a shelter and I saved his life and he passed just 2 years later. I loved him and I would never trade those years for anything.

GME or Granulomatous Meningoencephalitis is a common inflammatory brain disease in dogs. The cause is unknown. Female dogs of small breeds, especially terriers, poodles and poodle crosses are predisposed. Although GME can occur at any age, most instances occur between 2 and 6 years of age.
A chronic form of GME called "Pug Dog Encephalitis" occurs as an inherited disease in Pugs between the ages of 9 months and 4 years. It often begins with seizures, confusion, and loss of memory.Not spam.

Frank is still getting tests to find out what form and how advanced the condition is it might be G.M.E. or P.D.E. we still dont know 4 sure yet byt when we first weaned him off steroids for his m.r.i. scan he went back to being his old self again and his phenobarbital helps loads,the vet told us plenty of exercise does help,
