  • thank you so much with this video i was able to make this beatuiful home on the sims. i love the british monarchy and all of england im from the usa. i plan on moving to london soon ive even developed a british accent for i can fit in. quick questions where the royals there when youll filmed. and ive wondered how do the butlers and staff get hired or do they have to do diffrent stuff i ask only if you know the answer's. i hope you do answer my comment's.

  • @thedarklordvoldemot2 I didn't film this programme but I expect it was filmed while the family were elsewhere as it would have been a huge inconvenience for those at the palace. Jobs available in the household are listed on the website royal . gov . uk look for the quick links box on the right and the section 'latest job vacancies'.

  • @MyDigitalRealm thank you so much!! keep putting these vids up i luv them

  • @thedarklordvoldemot2 hahaahahahahhaahahahhahaah totaly lost

  • Around 1.5 million a year that the government pays. Every 4 years we get to vote for a new president, the most a president can serve is 2 terms (8 years). So if the Queen steps down then who would take her place?

  • @cooper210

    The heir

  • Then why have them at all, I read that UK taxpayers are paying 30+ million a year for them to do....what?

  • @cooper210 ...to be our Head of State. How much does your president cost ?

  • What happens if the King/Queen is a tyrant? Can you get rid of that person or have to deal with it?

  • @cooper210 The monarch has little power over the people nowadays, the government is responsible for changing laws etc.

  • @cooper210 In the old days, if a monarch was hated by his people or a powerful group, they or the nobility could conspire to overthrow him and replace him with the person next in line to the throne. Or, if they were absolutely fed up with the royal family and wanted them gone, they could start a revolution, or even execute their royalty if they chose to.Ancient Kings and Queens depended largely on the support of their people, so it would not be too hard to displace them if they were not careful.

  • Whens the last time the UK has had a king? Or is it always queens?

  • @cooper210 The Queen's father was the last king. The next monarch will be a king but hopefully not for a few years yet.

  • I don't mean to sound crast, but why do people so often ask god to save the queen? what do they want god to save her from? Is she in jeopardy from something?

  • @MrDBarch The Queen is the Personification of the Country. It is like America's star-spangled banner, the flag is the symbol of America. In the UK, the Queen is the symbol of the country. So, to save the Queen is to save the Country. To defend the Country is to defend the Queen from internal and external attacks. For European kingdoms like Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Luxembourg, all their anthems reflect the same essence as God Save the Queen.

  • Thank you!!!

  • I went to the Buckhingam palace ten years ago. Very beautiful. I got more info out of this than what the tour povided. All in all the tour too was grand.

  • i would so love her job!!!

  • Fiona Bruce just says "fabulous" and "exquisite" so well

  • i enjoyed watching this AMAZING documentary!! Thank you and God Save The Queen

  • i love the fact that Fiona Bruce is hosting this documentary (as she is highly intelligent and i've got a bit of a crush on her, hehe)...and you've uploaded this in very high quality.

  • @8bobthebuilder She is pretty and smart and looks great in that dress. She also has a nice figure. Unlike other women of today who are obese and like to dress up like men wearing pants and a stupid shirt. She does give beauty to the already beautiful program.

  • Thank you for sharing.... i love all your documentaries. :)

  • Very Well Done!

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I was so wanting to watch this but I live in the USA, Please try and upload the next 2 that will be on YOU ROCK!!!!

  • @GeistDreams Me too. I love documentaries about colonial days. I am also a monarchist.

  • Many thanks for putting this up. I hope to see all the palaces!

  • Thank you for sharing

  • When I saw a commercial of this documentary, I knew that I (and many others) can trust you to provide us with these wonderful documentaries.

Thanks for your time and effort!

  • @324wilson You are welcome, I have discovered another piece of technical wizardry which makes it even easier.
