Scott would try to commit suicide every now and then. He tried jumping off of a platform. He ended up alive but his ankle was sore. Thats why with his last tour with Blink he had to wear a cloth around his ankle. Also Scott kept complaining when Mark and Tom said they wanted to go mainstream. Even Scott admitted he had drinking problems and called to tell them he quit alcohol. And on that call, they dumped him. I still love Scott though, Blink would have been better

Yep I know, but it's still a Scott song, and that's one of the reasons why it's my favourites. Scott's deffs my favourite drummer of the two, but we have to give Travis some credit. He didn't force the guys to give up Scott, and it was Mark's and Tom's choice.

I don't mind if you hate him, but take a look at Time To Break Up. The drums are really complex. You have to call that talent. If not, I don't know why he's so in-demand right now. Right before his mom died (on his first day of high school) she told him to continue with drumming and to follow his dreams, and he did it for his mom. That's pretty sweet, but all in all, I reckon Scott did better with the band and I like Blink's older with-Scott songs better.

You can't be serious! Anyone with any sort of musical knowledge can tell that Travis is 100 times the drummer Scott was. Scott was good, don't get me wrong but he was pretty much just a punk drummer. Travis is a punk/hip hop/fusion/ drum n bass and a whole bunch of other genres in one. Compare the fills, rolls, speed, precision and attitude they both play with. Travis wins.

Blink would not be the band they are today if Travis hadn't replaced him.

I <3 Travis and can't imagine Blink without him but I'm saying I like Blink's old songs more.Also Scott's a metal drummer and even he says so. Scott grew up listening to punk. Travis said, he listened to all genres as a kid, so he's listened to everything. You can't really point a finger at Scott and compare him to Travis, because Scott started drumming with Blink from 14 yrs old, until he ws 19. Travis got with Blink at 23. He had no experience, but Travis was already in a band.

And of course Blink wouldn't be the band they are today without Travis, but a drummer doesn't control the band. Blink would have gotten popular with or without Travis, because 1, Tom and Mark write the songs and 2, they had already signed to a major label and wanted to get popular. That's 1 reason why Scott left. I love both drummers though..no meat :)
