Wish it was T-Mobile coming up to Montana to take over alltel instead of At&t.. Oh well the two largest carriers are the only ones with home service in MT ND SD WY and they both have the iPhone on there network. Gonna be interesting to see how that phone will affect verizon since i get the best service with them here.. Not sure about att since they havent finished building out..

@EllisPerkins93 you make me laugh!! Some of the videos so that but if you look at the bars it has 2 (out of 3). To put that into concept, it is 2-3.5 regualr bars. I have great reception were I live and average at 5 mbps. It peeks at 9 every now and then. But that is beside the matter 3-4 mbps is more than enough for everyone. There is a deference of like a half second between 3 and 7 in most websites.Phone's don't use GBs of data and labtops your going to have to wait for it ether way!

When I still lived in the US I found Sprint got the best coverage for me in California. But I found Tmobile and ATT were similar speeds, with less coverage from ATT.

Unless you live, work or play in or around Manhattan, NY this video has nothing to do wif you. I use speakeasy for my speedtest, in the Richmond VA area and my EVO is incredible. Speakeasy straight thru the browser, not a downloaded app. I guess other phones cant do that without flash.

In Atlantic County, South Jersey T-Mobile sucks. Last christmas I brought a T-Mobile phone from Best Buy. The salesperson told me that the phone would not work where I live. A week later I returned it. I have friends that have T-Mobile that can not get a signal from their workstation. Cnet should do that test in South Jersey.

its weird how you can get really bad speeds and dropped calls , at least for me and my friends you don't see this on i phones or B.B, IN Panama. Its so weird to hear people saying they get low speeds and disconnects. (We dont have 4g yet.) Only time we dropp calls is when the weather gets reeeeally nasty, and that almost never happens..

I suspect T-Mobiles speeds are good because of the low subscriber base in NYC. If the iPhone were on T-Mobile, they wouldn't stand a chance, and T-Mobile would become the new Sprint.

Yeah, I'm in Canada, too. Our speeds are also like 3x better than theirs though on our GSM networks as well, and on Bell and Telus the speeds are ridiculous, like 5-7mbps..

I just find it totally ridiculous and dishonest of Sprint to advertise the Evo as so much faster, and charge $10 extra on the bill, when their network is slower than every other network...

It's also amazing that people in the states think 1.2mbps is a good result.
