@johanbogg - I bought the aerogarden 6 at Canadian tire, I suppose any home store that sells toaster, blenders and such would carry them... I'm guessing...
The grow sponges this came with were wayyyyyyy too long. I had to cut the bottoms of them off so they'd fit . I had the aerogarden classic, so I guess your particular aerogarden is made to use the longer grow sponges?
@MrMaryJanes you must have purchased the wrong kit. The 3-pod and 6-pod kits contain the long sponges, and the 7-pod kits contain the shorter ones. They are all compatible without trimming unless the wrong kit is purchased.
Im trying to grow tomatoes and salad greensat once...should i set the button to tomatoes or salad greens? The manual doesnt say anything about mixing and matching plants.
...Thats really cool and all, but the AeroGarden lacks proper lighting to produce any "real" usable quantity of produce. If they could just replace the light with a single, self-ballasted, 250 watt CFL. But in total honesty, a more vast, robust, but still easy to use system would hold more interest to most home owners; because the pay-off will overpower the capitol investment. The biggest problem with this.
i want one so bad im allergic to gluten so growing my own food well help me greatly just need money lol

smash0 1 year ago 11
@smash0 sorry growing weed in soil is proven to be the best weed
fencingderek 1 year ago
@fencingderek there both very good ways to grow but as long as you use organic nutrients they will both be good
megagrower1 1 year ago
@megagrower1 sarry but I like weed that comes from soil not water
fencingderek 1 year ago
@smash0 that's because its called hydroweed.
No soil needed, its just pure water and air.
It applies to all plants.
