  • how do u make it bootable? i tried gamecube bootable disk rc3, burn on ridta g05 dvd-r, but the emulator cube64 wont boot.

  • "WAI SU SLW?>?!1.1?!"

lol just kidding... I think the final is being developed.

Besides, they're better off porting PJ64 instead of Mupen because PJ64 is the best emulator out there.

  • When i go into SD card on the menu to Wii64 It says an error uncorred.

And i did put games on the right folder ''N64 ROMS''

  • me too did u find out why

  • nope. you?

  • For me, the roms do load up but every single one of them is glitched so bad that they're unplayable.

And these are the ones that aparently are supposed to work.

  • I get the same as the user below...

  • Whenever I try to load an N64 rom I get a black screen full of white binary and then the console resets itself, what am I doing wrong?

  • "OMGWTFBBQ" lol. "oh my god, what the **** barbecue???" BTW it looks nice. DVD loading??? cool. And how do you fit sooo many games on an SD card?

  • how can i play conker on wii64?

  • i can't play N64 games on my gamecube.Would you like to help me ? i want to play killer instinct gold :X:X:X::XX:

  • man plz give my your ID

  • I look forward to the completed version. Any estimate on how long it will take?

  • you guys need to get this working. i cant wait for it, but it has to work. i know you guys can do it.

  • can i play conker bad fur day in wii64

  • Well not as of yet, between the time I asked and now I've had the opportunity to use it for myself. Although it boots most games which is very impressive they run incredibly slow and not worth playing until frame rate is up at least 5FPS.

  • Hey, I;m playing this on may Wii.. WIth the Homebrew Channel.. Is it slower for me? Or wut, Cause I see that you have Banjo Kazooie.. I tried to load it up, (which it did).. But when it got to the black screen.. Nothing. :\

Is the Homebrew Channel version of it inferior to yours? Assuming you have gotten Banjo to working "somewhat" on it?

  • is your rom in big endian format? (.z64)

Byteswapped (.v64) and little endian (.n64) are partially supported only and Banjo-Kazooie.z64 is booting for me. Convert ROMs between these byte formats using Tool64 (not Toad' s tool 64, which is another thing). Hope this helps

  • thnx for the responce, and ya, it is a .z64..

oh well.. Maybe I didnt wait long enough for it to start up?..

I'll just wait till this Wii64 gets faster

  • Since Banjo-Kazooie uses a microcode for graphics which is more complex than Super Mario 64' s, it takes a bit more to boot and also it runs a bit slower. Hopefully Wii64 team will improve the CPU interpreter soon.

  • OHhhh!! :D

  • Woot! new version released today :D

  • OMGWTFBBQ, WHY IS IT SO SLOW?

  • It' s alpha, and only uses GC hardware to run.

  • you dont get it xD

  • Oh, I got it now sorry XD

  • Very nice, I don't say it is slow. In this stage, i find it really fast.

I really like to see an .elf-version.

  • is there also an elf version??

    a little suggestion:

make it wiimote/cc compatible and add usb mass support and it'll be the best homebrew ever :D

  • Being all the rom in GC RAM, would be faster?

I never saw that kind of loading in emulators. It's curious.

I hope we all playing all Mario's Games on Game Cube/Wii. Thank you for this, emukidid.

  • excellent rogress. its good to see someone putting in mass amounts of effort into making an emulator

must be hard work too :P

  • Very Cool! please in next video play Banjo-Kazooie, thanks!

  • Cool, this is on a GameCube? Can't wait to see it in Wiimode :)

  • You can find a Homebrew channel compatible version on mupen64gc' s Google Code page

  • i finally see some progress!

btw its not THAT slow...i mean the gc's ram is kinda..lil and i think itll rum waaaaay faster in the wii!

  • Excellent progress, and I take it the Wii version doesn't constantly to load in bits because of the RAM size?

  • good work there!
