  • FWD fu**ing sucks..... extremely bad!!!! hahaha, honda kids that know nothing think these are good race cars... no, not at all, yes there are some purpose built race hondas, but you can do that with any brand, and to the dumb fuck above who says Honda is on the forefront of variable valve technology, obviously hasnt worked in the field or had professional training... on top of that is very brand ignorant... V-tech use an oil pressure for application... if i need to say more, you already lost....

  • The sooby driver can't launch for shit, if a fwd car beats you off the line when you are in an AWD car then you need to go and practice or get launch control or something. I would have left that integra in the dust.

  • yeah or the only other thing is that if the WRX is stock and the integra has 500+hp or something but even amounts of power FWD should never beat AWD off the line. I have never been beaten off the line in my WRX because I actually went out and practiced BEFORE I raced it lol

  • true. i've had the advantage on every FF i've lined up against to 60ft. but if i'm racing an 11 second car there's nothing i can do after that.

  • yeah my wrx run's 11.73 in the 1/4 and I ran my friends dads 10 second chevelle and we were dead even in the 60ft but after that he just steadily pulled on me the whole way down the track. but I was honored to even be a full second behind a blown 454! He is getting serious this season and he is about to beef up his internals more and up the boost and try to crack into the 9's. But IDK he may need to go bigger he already has it bored out to a 468 so we will see.

  • a stock WRX and stock integra type-r run pretty close stock 1/4 times, mid to low 14s. infact an intergra type-r would probably beat a wrx on the highway. but the subaru sounds better, looks better, and has better all around performance. they are more of a track/rally car than a drag car. put that integra and the wrx on a back dirt road and see who comes out on top.

  • lol a teg is shit with out a turbo, My stock wrx raaaaaapes my friends integra which has Cat back exhaust, plugs, headers, cold air intake and a bunch of other tiny mods that I don't remeber and he gets smokkkkked every time, also if we want to make this fair if your going to dump a few grand on puttin a turbo in a teg then you need to put the same amount of money into the scoob 16g turbo teg will be sittin still

  • Not true at all, Stock to stock I only had about 90 more hp at the crank, so where your gettin double idk if I had a sti maybe but I have a WRX (227 at the crank teg 142-170 depending on model) With my car stock I put about 170 hp to the ground, with his mods he prob puts 150-160 at the ground...So HP is not the issue here...Its the torque factor Teg's are pieces of shit when it comes to torque he barley has 130 torque I have well over 200...So don't accuse me of being "stupid".

  • Your car is all wheel drive, you have way more HP. Put a turbo on his car and you would be getting beat.

  • Yah and I know that, but once again I do not have WAY more hp in fact I probably only have 10-20 more whp then him its once again about the torque, and I beat him from rolls just a fyi...But any how your being stupid to put a entire turbo kit on a car that is not ready for a turbo and get it installed will prob run him 3k+ so if were going to be far then I guess that would entitle me to spend 3 grand on my car.

  • His engine can only handle about 8psi so lets see his car would probably be running maybe 200 hp at the wheels at that point with 8 pounds of boost if hes lucky...Mean while my car after dumping 3k would have a huge 16g or bigger turbo which would put me at what 270 at the wheels with that alone and running 22psi and I can pick that turbo and all the mods to build my car up to run it for bout 1500 dollars so with the left over 1500 i could get a turbo back exhuast a up pipe and a tune 290+ whp?

  • Yeah, don't listen to most people on youtube they are the kind of people who freak out when they see a civic with 10 grand of mods beat a stock corvette or when they see a worked integra beat a stock wrx...Speaking of which car isn't stock ne more running DC-sports up/down pipe cobb catt back exhaust with stage 2 mapping a more free flowing air filter and 1 stage colder spark plugs...Im making about 230 at the wheels. By next summer it'll have close to 300 whp...new turbo baby! lol

  • @crxdelsolsir ughhh, Not really bro I've had my subaru for almost 3 years now, its a 2003, I have had no problems with the car other then regular maintenance, oil changes, recalls, brakes, timing belt ect ect

    I've had my '08 STi for 2 years, and not one repair has been needed. Tires still have most of their tread, engine is in almost new condition. I've just had to do oil changes like everyone else, but that doesn't cost anything.

  • its cuz honda were the forerunners of VVT technology. every other car manufacturer is just playing catch up with vtec by making VVTI MIVEC AVC and so forth when vtec still is the elite choice. they even have i-VTEC which dominates any other VVT system for other cars besides honda/acura
