hey folks. I plan to get ArmA 2 soon, though I am having a fair bit of difficulty finding a laptop to run the game well, for example this game needs 2.8 GHz to run, but the best I could find in a laptop is around 2.5 GHz or so. I have looked for a while without success, so I was just hoping if someone knew a site or something that sells good gaming laptops they could give me some info that'd be great, also I live in the UK just in case a site you know may not cover the UK.

@thyrampantpigeon your best option is to go to alienware. com to purchase a very good gaming laptop, but it is hard to find a laptop with amazing specifications, I suggest you buy a goming pc like i have for £440 on ebay with 3.6ghz, 8gb ram , windows 7 home premium, ATI radeon 5450 card(which) i have upgraded as it not good, 1tb of space with a GIGABYTE motherboard, This is the pc i purchased as it is amazing but i recommend that you upgrade the graphics card as it isnt good.

has anyone ever realized that MGS4 has the same gameplay of this game ¬¬??? the only difference is that in ARMA you can 'tilt' your gun, but besides that you've got the same gameplay and less complex :/ I think this guys pushed too hard, don't get me wrong but...I feel like they moved too far, I like the fact that games are realistic, but in this case I feel like instead of making a realistic game, they made a 'complex-and-not-very-comforta­ble' game and gameplay....just my opinion...

@adoggred Yea, but ArmA II has way too many buttons and interfaces to be on console. Plus consoles don't have the processing power to run things like ArmA II. A realistic game would be possible on console, but it would be infantry only. Plus to do have a bunch of realistic functions like firemodes, lean, prone, crouch, plus many other things like chat interfaces, it just would not work on console.

@Keahlii Processing and graphics-wise, the next-gen consoles could probably handle it. But there's still the problem of not having enough buttons on your controller. And scrolling through lots of menus is not fun and is clunky, especially on console.

I own an xbox 360 and I know how this feels, when call of duty 4 came I couldn't play it cus I didn't have a ps3 or xbox or a good pc, but in 2010 I got xbox after modern warfare 2, which I liked, but then I played cod 4 which was totally good but I didn't have the same feeling

BFBC2, all of the CODs, operation flashpoint (both of them), MoH, portal, metro 2033 etc. you have to be stupid to believe that games are ported from the PC to consoles. they develop for consoles then port to PC because its cheaper, and its near impossible to do the other way around do to the fact consoles cant re-produce the same visuals as PC. it doesn't matter what the genre is. every idiot knows this!
