love this... i thought the boss was rather easy though compared to some of them! The last boss on DK2 is actually a nightmare, so technical :D then you have to do it all over again when you get all the big coins in the other world and beat him there but its twice as hard :O gotta love it hehe

Back in the day I rented this game as a kid. In those days we had these things called cartridges. The first time I rented it, I found that the previous borrower had not deleted his/her saved game and had reached the final battle. Therefore this level was the first level I actually played in the game lol. All I remember from that day was cannonballs, cannonballs, cannonballs. I was no match. Gave up, wiped the data, and started new. Good times. Makes you really appreciate the 2D genre.

As a kid, I never beat this game. The reason being (kind of strange) was because whenever I beat Rool, there was no ending, only fake credits. I never knew he would come back to life, so I assumed there was no ending. I reset the game whenever it got to the credits for some reason

The boss battle was faaaar too easy...this wasn't a super hard game..but still challenging...and this boss battle was a joke even when I first played it way back when.
