What the police don't want the public to know is that on Aug. 12 the body of 23 year old Deborah Lynn Bonner was pulled from the River. 3 Days later, on Aug. 15 the bodies of Cynthia Hinds, Marcia Chapman, and Opal Mills were found, yet Opal Mills was last seen alive and well on Aug. 12, approx. 1 hour BEFORE Deborah Lynn Bonner's body was pulled for the river.
So if the police had searched the Green river more closely on the 12th, they would have found the bodies of Cynthia Hinds and Marcia Chapman, and if they had done a covert surveillance of the river, they would have caught the killer red-handed, when he returned to deposit the body of Opal Mills between the 13th and the 15th.
I am not so sure police do not want the public to know that after all that information has been published in a book about the case for years, a book following the case that had plenty of police information and involvement.
This is an outstanding video! The recreations of the crimes are chilling and VERY true to fact. This is especially true in the dramatization of Marie Malvar's murder. Ridgway had a forest mural, just like the one in this clip, on the wall behind his bed during the time he was killing in his Military Road house. Malvar was also one of the only girls to almost escape. However, as the clip shows, Ridgway caught her crawling by the door and killed her there. Please upload more of this video.
