I always wondered if there was a 40mm launcher or 203 or similar conversion assembly for an M14. Sure you could retro fit an M16's M203 to an M14 but a pre-fab would be so much easier, no custom fitting. That launcher looks like it's designed for a short carbine, such as an MP5. I doubt a real launcher of that size would produce enough gas preasure to mortar the grenade far. Plus penetration would be low. But if you just want it for lobbing grenades into windows it would be perfect.

No, tokyo marui makes a spring m203 which shoots 3 bbs and uses shells that hold 30 rounds each so you get 10 shots.. it's basically a shotgun.

Assault rifles are chambered for intermediate rounds. The M14 fires a full powered rifle cartridge (7.62x51mm). Therefore, the M14 is not an assault rifle. Also, a lot of M14's nowadays are semi-auto only, while true assault rifles must be capable of full-auto.

The KA grenades are nice, but the 100+ round grenades have very limited range, 50 feet at the most. I picked up some Madbull grenades and they are many time better. Range out to at least 150 feet.
