@PPHATS You know what really has me upset about Verizon? I'm holding out to get the 4.0 ICS on the Razr Maxx and Motorola is still in the "Developing" stage with Verizon. Google is set to release Android 5.0 Jelly Bean, maybe as soon as May. That puts the Razr Maxx 2 versions behind while Verizon dicks around hoping to sell more Galaxy Nexus phones. Makes me want to leave Verizon.

@JetMech72 The razr maxx is already "hardware ready" for the upcoming android OS releases. The thing is, there are very few 3rd party apps that are ready for the newer OS's (Jelly, and I forgot the other one that's on the Galaxy Nexus only right now). But the thing is, it'll be like getting a new phone at least twice because U get the razr then in a couple of mths the new OS is sent to the phone. As far as the scheming to sell phones, that's an unfortunate tactic of most phone providers

@SuperCyberGangsta Thank you. I was actually wonder if that was the case. I did confirm, with Verizon, that the phone would be automatically updated to 4.0 once Motorola releases it for the Razr Maxx. (Galaxy Nexus is the only Verizon phone (Samsung) currently running the 4.0 ICS)

Should I get this or the Droid 3?? I prefer physical keyboards because touch screen texting fucks everything up. You make a typo, then it "autocorrects" the WRONG word so you have to go back and try to change it but then it "autocorrects" it WRONG again. It's freakin annoying lol. That's why iPhone and most other screen texting phones suck. But hey, at least everything else about the Droid Maxx is good.. the texting probably sucks since there's no keyboard.

and the battery is improved, doesn't mean the first one was fuck up or anything. if so then all the 4Gs are fuck up cause they drain battery so fast. RAZR lasted like most other phones in the market.

I think this is better than the Galaxy nexus because the nexus has that great new software, but it's got nothing hardware-wise compared on the Droid Razr and Razr Maxx. A lot of people, myself included, would rather take thinner, lighter, stronger and longer lasting than being first to have the newest version of android.

Would you prefer the standard phone or the new version coming out called the maxx that has a huge battery but in a sense kills off the slim looks of the razr?
