@thechzman Bill "selling out" to play with Chicago wasn't all a bad thing. If he hadn't made the money he made with Chicago he most likely would not have been able to bring the Sons back together in the late 90's.
What a great singer! We have a singer here in Canada who sounds very similiar by the name of Jon Finley who sang in Rhinoceros, probably around the same time this great band was out too.
That's the great Terry Haggerty on the lead guitar and the great Geoffrey Palmer on those smokin' vibes! The greatest band never to make it outside of the San Francisco Bay Area! Where's Tim Cain, though?

If you can remember anything remember these guys they where the reminder of the best music ever written and I hope their music receives you when you move on.
Terrible to know you saw the Sons at an outdoor concert but don't remember exactly when. I believe San Jose 69, 70. I still have their 1st album on vinyl.Great tune
Thanks so much for posting this. I was fortunate enough to see the Sons several times during this period. An awesome group of musicians ... nice to see some video of them which includes Mic Gillette and Tom Saviano.

@mmannaxx
There's a great DVD of a reunion concert in 2002. I rented it on Netflix.

@mmannaxx I thought Bill played the lead guitar on the album this is from, even though he plays keyboards as well.
