  • can anyone tell me how to find specific cards... i want to build a library destroyer, mana destroyer, opponent cant put a creature, with some cheap creature... white/blue deck... anyone?

  • @taemobrown31 have you ever heard of googleing "MTG singles" ??

  • @taemobrown31 card kingdom

  • my husband plays, and i would like to use these videos as a window into his world, but it's such bad quality, it's not really possible for a newcomer to follow. please fix!

  • @katherinegonzales82 watch the newwer vids...like the 2010 vids

  • @katherinegonzales82 I recommend using these videos in combination with something like mtgvault.com. With the new auto complete on the card search, if you can spell the first few letters of the card you're unsure about, it can finish it, and you'll be able to click on it and see what it does. That should help you understand a bit more of what's going on.

  • all those cameras must be pretty distracting

  • The match was not bad but the sound is awful

  • These weird pan outs and long shots are painfully annoying. I want to watch the game, not see the nice decor.

  • yeah 2 decks are a good choice, u have a jund aggro and a grixis control, totally different each other but pretty fund to play with:D

  • you can go to 65 without ruining your deck

  • good decks have 60. more is dumb

  • @RollJob88 not rly if you have the right balance and combos. big decks are good if you have a good use for the tutors, or if you even have them at all. but then again, they are good in smaller decks as well. i'd say 70 could be the max

  • find me one decklist that has topped 8 in the last 10 years in any major tournament that has over 60 cards excluding sideboard and i'll say maybe agree with you. having less cards in your deck increases your chances of drawing a useful card. why do you think they have a minimum? every deck would be 40 cards if that was the minimum. think about it.

  • @RollJob88 it's not because they are not top decks that you can't have fun and success with a 70 deck card. just adjust the strategy.

  • since you didn't name a deck list its obvious no deck over 60 cards is competitive on a pro or semi-pro level. you keep playing with your 70 card fun decks. i find winning fun, so i'll play with 60 cards.

  • @RollJob88 we get it, you're a wannabe pro.

  • Comment removed

  • That's why Gabe Nassif won Pro Tour Kyoto with 61. It's ill advised if you're inexperienced but I think a championship winning deck qualifies as "competitive".

  • gabriel nassif's 5cc deck

  • people are stupid it's basic probablity

if you want something your inital hand you have a 7/60 chance of getting any one specific card in your deck approx a 12% chance. then approx 2% per each draw for a specific card.

  • @TheSandM2009 thankyou... somebody talking some sense. i guess i shouldn't assume only smart people play magic. but i like to approach the game like i approach chess. don't respond to your opponent, predict what he/she is going to do.

  • @RollJob88 personally i think that is harder to do in magic imagine all the cards they could play lol

  • @greenone well, if your smart, and they're good, or at least use good cards. you should be able to know 80% of they're deck by the third turn.

  • ty m8

  • should a deck have 60 cards or 40 cards????

  • @seybolt43 40

  • 60 to 70

  • sup pros. im new to this game. it seems pretty kool but pretty close to duel masters. havent bought any decks. when i start im gonna buy 4. i need tips. i want to make a green white deck but is that a good idea. i wanna get molimo deck, cho manno deck, natures fury and the legiion thing. i need help on strtaegies. hope i get a reply.

  • all decks is good... just try to find yours.. and your cards .. with some time you can know you deck good. use 1 deck (main) and maby have a reserve if u losing to much, but dont forget the main deck. just work on it to get it more powerfull

  • @hordeshorde i was actually planning on having 5 dif decks.

  • @TheEndSkyress in order to have a rly good deck you're already going to burn a good ammount of money in it, 5 decks is a waste. have 2 of them, 2 completely different ones for different occasions

  • At 18:20, why didn't Hebky tap Obelisk of Alara for three damage and then tap it again for another three on his next turn?

  • All right, I see, Hebky has no red mana generator. Too bad for him, as the game would have went down much more quickly.

  • I have 2 decks that kick ass, ones a sliver deck and the other is a plains soldier deck. i wish i could get to where they are, ive never entreed any competition

  • Sliver Decks are for newbs!

  • wow sad

  • somehow epic.. i play magic the gathering myself.. me decks are EPICLY AWESOME!! if i could i would go to the tours and kick their asses!

  • @DraconicSlayer you are probly a hobby shop dualist... that a pro and see how good you are

  • that's a draft tournament in which you build ur deck out of cards from 3 packs which are passed around a table of 8 people. Obviously, these decks are not as good as Constructed decks... (decks made from your own collection)

  • Wow Hebky id sn idiot he should have taken the damage

  • notice they had the planechase symol this early.

  • Where do you see that?

  • hebky is such a bad player.

  • If this guy wasn't good he wouldent have made it to the Pro tour there bud..Lol...

  • Bad players make it to the pro tour every year.

  • lets see you get to the magic pro tour finals then tough guy

  • @KNIGHTMAREMANIAC my thoughts exactly lol

  • dont u hate that? u need land and u draw a just enough over a couple turns then late game u draw a bunch o land when u dont need it lol

  • needs moar Winged Coatl :(

  • why do all these pro players flip through their cards like madmen over and over and ajust how there land are arranged like every turn

  • it becomes a habit afterwhile. :\

  • kinda weird i been playing since 96 and i dont do that mabye it has something to do with them being nervious or something id probably be nervious playing for like 40 grand eh i dunno

  • yaa, me 2. I picked up the card shuffle habit at a couple PTQs. It just gives my hands something to do while im thinking really

  • yeah fair enough i have quite a few habits such as i find haveing a toothpick in my mouth or cracking knucles something i do often when i play

  • mitamura plays a great end game bluff personality to this game. nice work despite the outcome

  • i went to the seattle gp, oh man do people take this game way too seriously.

people over think this game way too much... it is fun tho.

  • Well when you play for thousands of dollars.... it tends to make people a bit serious sometimes.

  • lmfao at these kids

  • plz get better qua;ity fopr these vids u can barely make out cards

  • or maybe u could be not retarded and actually listen to the announcers

  • plus, do you actually think Wotc would upload anything better? I think not

  • I agree, its like watching quakecon coverage from 2002 :(

  • As soon as hebky actually got past 3 land in game 3, it actually became kind of a match

  • @MCJamiedizzle actually?
