It's a creepy place--wooded area, no houses on the one side, narrow tunnel. I went there during the day and did see some occult graffiti, but that's about it. I also heard (no idea if it's true) that some occultists practice rituals there.

couple years ago it was better. the first bridge from route 5 had a barn just on the bend of the road. supposedly thats where pigman hid out at times. since then the barn has been taking down(it was old and rickity) and now its a pile of ruble. i have been down that road many of times at night and every so often theres kids playing games on the road around the bridges, its not safe since it really a blind turn at the bridge and one lanes. gotta be careful. BIG HALLOWEEN PARTY ON THAT ROAD

greetings from Angola, NY...there was an episode made of x-files that used the storyline from pigman road.. where the man gets stuck in his car under the bridge and gets hanged from a meat hook with his legs kicking on the stalled car under the bridge..there actually was a man that hung pig heads on stakes in his yard to keep ppl away from his property on that road
just went a few nights back and right after it rained so it was a very heavy fog to it made it look very creepy. also there was still a lot of lighting it just added to the creepy factor of the whole road. we had gone with no flashlights and walked into this tunnel and sat there and for a bit when we got out there was big crash sound like somebody we kinda figured ppl were just on top of the bridge . so we went up as we got down a train came by but we were just up there and so nothing miles.
Damn, that sucks. My friend recently purchased a camera with night vision, specifically for the purpose of filming there. Hopefully we'll have fotage when the warmer weather arrives.
The story goes like this: First a train crashed and nearly everyone was steamed to death on the bridge, some stories say a young boy was deformed from the fire, and looked some what like a pig. He became a butcher and moved onto the road. He would chop off the pigs heads and put them on his fence post. One time 3 kids went into his land and he killed him, he messed up there faces, choped off there heads and hung them on meat hooks by the bridge. (some say accualy hanging off the bridge)
@reallyred123 the train crash was further down but theres alot of stories bout a farmer who killed some kids in the late 19th century i think. the train wreck is a totally true brutal story though. the train derailed and the people inside were burnt by the contenets of the furnace. it was about a half mile down. i ride my bike down there all the time. its just a nice road with no houses, lots of animals and sweet folklore. i go down the paths in the woods, you find train parts in the creek
@DEATHDEVOURED if you want the full story of what happened, this is it: the guy was a serial killer who had a reputation as a butcher as he would but pig heads on stakes to keep away trespassers. 3 boys went to his house and he kidnapped him and slowly decapitated them, with the others watching. he then put their heads on stakes and ran off. he wasn't ever saw again, but people had said they heard the sound of hungry pigs near his house. creepy
@glamtron If you can set the ISO on your camera, set it at 1600 and open the shutter as much as possible. Works on even the video part of an ordinary digital cam
