If the BOM is the "true word of God as the Mormon Church claims, then how can it be changed?

Yeah that's right, after writing 500 pages of original material as the Book of Mormon, Joseph thought, gee I better copy word-for-word some parts of the Bible to make it more believable. I hope nobody notices. It's a good thing the chapter headings in the Book of Mormon actually tell you to compare those verses to the Bible or we would have never figured it out. Get this woman a pipe and a magnifying glass.

"Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." -AMOS We have a prophet, that receives revelation from God himself....therefore we are not adding anything, just stating what is already there. Speaking of which, if God is the same today, yesterday and forever....where is the prophet of god, if not in mormon faith?

Obviously you have know idea how the bible was compiled, otherwise you wouldn't argue with BOM statements regarding lost scripture. Have you read an original book of mormon? Or did you borrow all of your research. I think I already know the answer. Arguing the priesthood is fascinating. How many religions claim to have the Aaronic and melchizedek priesthood?

have you read the origonal BOM? Because there are a lot of changes made between the origonal and the current one.

Ok, let me get this..the BOM is God's word? this does not add here. Scripture says that we should not be adding to it, however, I guess Smith and the Mormon hirearchy saw fit to add some weird stuff to it. No wonder people are confused in this particular religion and I pray for them to find their way out and find the Jesus of the Bible.
