At the same time, the amount of agriculture in Europe has been on a steady decline over the past several decades as several european governments (I point my finger at France and Britain primarily) have greatly reduced government subsidization for agriculture, thus making it darn near impossible to be an agricultural producer. Obama doesn't "prepare" anything. He has speech writers like every other President. However, unlike every other President, he seems completely incapable of doing anything OTHER than reading the speeches his speechwriters prepare for him on a teleprompter.
He even uses prompters for press conf. - which is new. He can't communicated without them, which is not smart, but "dumb". He tried to kick the habit on his vacation in Hawaii but could not. Whenever he goes off it, he looks idiotic.

Your comparisson with antibiotics is wrong.
Contrary the way antibiotics should be used, DDT isn't used in cocktails or so thoroughly that it wipes out an entire population. This is working in favour of the immunisation.

It hurt the enviorment and brought many other species to the brinck of not being around anymore. 2nd, alterenative methods are not being sought to cure malaria because there is no money to be gained by helping poor countries get rid of their sickness (malaria) thus the problem w/ capitalism
If there were just a government running the research, there would much more likely be research conducted to create alternate methods to combat the disease. . .

Not only is DDT harmful to the genetics of humans, it also hurts Peregrine Falcons and fish, long term effects can be seen in their offspring, ultimately, the food chain would be destroyed, and so the long-term effects would be harmful to humans as well. . .

If there were no proof that DDT harmed the environment, then I assure you it would still be used to this day, however, from the bottom up it causes health problems in birds predators of birds, and humans it is single handedly ruining the ecosystem. . .
Alternative solutions should be sought, and without capitalistic BS standing in the way, we likely would have found a solution already. . .
