  • Let's just play random riffs in random order...

  • I hate Misha's new Perhipery stuff but I love his old pieces, even some of his solo album. Anyone agree?

  • The final melody makes me feel like soaring above the ground. :D

  • What album is this track off?

  • @killinglucy i think it isn't, considering they only have one, right?

  • this was good periphery!

  • i listen to this djent style song whilst drinking djentle jack :) awesome stuff

  • They could do without the gay-ass singer, the song is better by itself.

  • @YouViewer08 Bitch please, every progressive metal singer sounds gay next to such low and raw guitar sounds. Learn to respect the more skilled tough. It's like saying faggot to your father.

  • @LeapingDodo you must be the gay-ass singer.

  • @YouViewer08 i know dude. why would a band with such incredible instrumental intelligence and power drown out their genius riffs with singing. my bad..... not just singing. GAY FUCKIN SINGING.

periphery instrumentals are boss of the industry

  • dude i love this song like a fat kid loves fat

  • So, the guy who made this is called Periphery and also Bulb? He also released the same song under two different names? He likes to keep things intteresting...

  • @YouViewer08 Misha Mansoor is one of the guitarists of Periphery, he records these songs and puts them on his Soundclick under the name Bulb. A lot of the songs later get used as Periphery songs.

  • all these songs arent on there album so how do i get them!!! and they are alot better then whats on the album

  • They we're just anounced for the Rock Im Park / Rock Am Ring festivals in Germany. I'm so happy right now.

  • That intro grooved hard!

  • if you start headbanging without knowing about the band.. that means they got somethin eh?

  • Are people really arguing if djent is a genre or not? Jesus christ get a life...

  • @guitars357 You think that's weird? Make a stand on the 'tree falling in a forest' question...

  • There should be a law against phasers

  • Dear Misha,

Fuck you for hating this song and never will use it cause you hate it so much.

    Love,

    MobiusR

  • i feel like djent has the best genre name puns ever. oh and music.

  • @reaperinred11 Djent isn't a fucking genre, it's basically a style of playing/guitar tone. If djent is a genre, so is pinched harmonics.

  • @axedstoninst .....its become the name of a subgenre. deal with it. i understand that it comes from the fact that the guitar sounds like its going 'djent.' jesus christ you musical know it all fuck.

  • @axedstoninst actually it is a genre dumb ass. thats what a genre is its a style of how you play your instruments along with other stuff of course.

  • @benchubb16 Not a genre. Fucking idiot.

  • @axedstoninst thats what makes a genre a genre. Fucking ignorant sack of shit.

  • @benchubb16 Still isn't a genre.

  • Where can I get an album with all of Bulb's solo stuff on it? thanks.

  • @bubbasock I don't believe there is one. They only have 1 full album out right now, and two more are releasing this year.

  • what album is this on?

  • @AndersonWave17 Most likely this is going to be on either their Juggernaut album with Spencer vocals, or on their album later this year, Periphery II.

  • Your account is fucking back!

  • Djesus Christ these guys are good!!!!

  • seeing these with DT should be a great night!

  • @MrGamerBazer saw them live at helsinki, and i gotta say they are really good live band. Tight playing all set.

  • @iloveemometal oh nice. My nights gonna be EVEN better! :P

  • please enough with the stupid djent jokes. they were funny the first couple of times, but now they're getting old

  • oneDounsanDth Commenter. !

  • The vocals over here is the lead xD

  • Better minus vox!

  • This sounds pretty tight, ones to watch for 2012:D

  • DDDD DJent iS It Periphery Or Bulb´s work Only ?? DD

  • @Valogragu Nah man, Meshuggah invented it.

  • Not bad. But i think i prefer vocals. This was pretty good as well!

  • Should play the part at 3:00 in Djerry springer midget battles.

  • Im sure words start with D too , lol.

  • Periphery is Djammin' quite well :p

  • Djelicious

  • I know I shouldnt comment if I dont like it but I did

  • somehow none of this ends up being heavy for me.... they took meshuggahs thing and made it less heavy somehow... and 4min on might aswell be a straight rip off of "shed" and other songs on catch 33. even this without vocals i'm left asking wheres the metal in metal?

  • @celestialflesh Some find these "groovy" riffs to be quite heavy. I for one, think the riff at 5:14 is the most beast riff ever created by man. Too bad your not enjoying it :(

  • @celestialflesh I actually find Bulb's stuff to be amazing. And very metal.

  • @celestialflesh Djealous?

  • djent djent djent djentyy djent!

  • This song makes me realize just how much I enjoy cheeses

  • djust damazing....deargasm XD

  • Show me your djenitals, your djenitals... show me your djenitals (Your djenitalia!!)

  • Does anyone got milk?

  • @tom09005 Uhm yeah sure, i'll mail it.

  • @tom09005 I djust bought a bottle.

  • I djizzed in my pants xD

  • Is this song on an album of theirs yet?

  • @LLMstratocaster Most of these song uploaded by theSyringe are actually songs written by Misha Mansoor (guitarist and songwriter for Periphery) and posted online years before the band Periphery was even formed. Alot of these songs have been reworked and incorporated into Periphery's first album.

  • whoa this tone is playing games with my djenitals

  • @4444johnnyboy4444 More like, it put a djent in my head

  • I just Djizzed myslef...

  • I can totally djam out to this sci fi death metal.

  • this song is disgustingly good.

  • I like the music video.

  • Why is everybody putting a 'D' in front of words?

  • @raderonni No idea man. Wish these djerks would cut it out..

  • @theSyringe Lol xD.

  • @theSyringe haha noobs...its cause periphery play a style of music called djent

  • @Shortdude1619 Last i was aware djent wasn't a style of music but a way of describing the sound you get with a certain type of palm muting?

  • @geeupson Things changed

  • @geeupson well it can be both, djent is that sound made by a certain type of palm muting, and bands that utilize that sound a lot are often referred to as djent, such as Meshuggah. and i was just trying to explain it to the kid who had no idea why everyone is putting the D in front on the words that start with J

  • @theSyringe Would you just be a djentalman and tell @raderonni

  • @theSyringe Djentleman, it's like all the djent band's name, always about geometry : Periphery, Structures, Volumes, Intervals, Circles...

Why not The Lesotho Pyramids Project, Pentagon, Circonference or Euclide's Circle Pit?

  • @Kichigai69 Animals As Leaders, Tesseract, Auras, Elitist(sometimes), Hacktivist, Skyharbor, The Algorithm, Fragments, RXYZYXR, Entities.

  • @fornever5656 AAL = only djent-y on their second album, and its not on all of their songs mang.

  • @Kichigai69 you forgot TesseracT there my friend, even though you were 99% right :D /brofist

  • @Kichigai69 Dunno about Structures, man. Maybe they have some djent parts in a couple of songs. But definitely not like Volumes, for example.

  • @Kichigai69 Except Meshuggah...

  • @raderonni Djently, they're so stupid.

  • @raderonni Because of the genre. Djent.

  • @Aprch most of these bands would rather be called progressive metal

  • @nickRnun I didn't say they shouldn't, I was just telling that other guy why everyone was spelling everything with a dj-

And yeah, Djent is pretty much an internet-developed genre, so I guess the labels just say progressive metal.

  • @raderonni

    search for "djent"

  • @raderonni its a joke, cus this is djent music

  • @raderonni Because this genre of metal is called Djent. Djentlemen.

  • @raderonni Djent there's ya reason

  • @raderonni Djent is a heavy metal genre, coined by the band Meshuggah, the word "djent" is an onomatopoeia for a heavily palm-muted, distorted guitar chord. Typically, the word is used to refer to music that makes use of this sound.

  • @F3rgul Wikipedia.

  • @raderonni the "D" is for Djent lol silly none the less to put "D"s in front of everything, but at the same time kinda funny.

  • @raderonni Its because of "Djent". Some People think it's kinda funny :P

  • Because when shit is awesome people get loopy. "D"ont be a "D"ouchebag!

  • can somebody repost the demos?

  • My Djohnson is out

  • @SynAntism yes....djokes lol

  • SO SICK.

  • why dont you all djust shut up about these djent jokes

  • 3:50 is straight gansta groovez, yo.

  • 2:04 for the ZeN Godz

  • Damn kids and your metal. Get a djob.

  • @ehhhhhhhhhh I like that one.

  • I HATE THIS SONG SO MUCH!!! I CANNOT STOP HEARING IT!!!

  • @ZTOID Or maybe you could kindly eat a dick? I think the contrast between the vocals and the music is fantastic.

  • Great band, they need to get rid of that shitty vocalist though. Too much clean shitty vocals ruin their sound.

  • @ZTOID So agreed

  • I just met these guys at Comic Con today!!!!

  • @SGTCloudrunner so did i :D

  • Stares at picture reallly hard for a long time* e.e nope its just u deathBYScissors

  • whats up with the "D's" in front of the words?

  • @IMTHEFLUFFYRAULPENA Go look up Djent. Your listening to it in it's highest order.

  • @IMTHEFLUFFYRAULPENA Djesus christ you djerk have you never heard of djent the djingle of Djupiter

  • I had to listen to this song before i went to the Djentist

  • @triviuoli if i listen to this song before the djentist.. i am not so djently to the djentist anymore..

  • @triviuoli

You know, I was listening to this while driving and accidently crashed with a bus. That put a huge djent on my car.

  • This band's vocalist fucking sucks and waaaay too many clean vocals. This song is so awesome though.

  • @ZTOID You are just to dumb enough for showing empathy in such great music, the clean and grunting vocals are both amazingly great, and the combo of the two, are really awesome.

  • 0:15 <--- click there for epicness..

  • omg... totally mind blown D: :))

  • Djesus christ.

  • @ThatBlackaneseKid107 Djentus...

  • @ThatBlackaneseKid107 i love this

  • It baffles me how talented Misha is. Once every few generations, surely?

  • HEY.

    SHUT UP!

To not ureated something, which if occurr at all, rarely happensing. So if anything is going to happen influence will pass any influe nd creativitiy would even if the mean that you would have essentially ceded down, this is good music.

  • @tteotdead you had me at "this is good music"

  • @tteotdead

    i totally agree

  • @Joefilmmaker I'm glad someone else understands. [;

  • this reminds me of the time i ate all the mushrooms growing under my house, i sware to god i heard this is my head

  • Just now discovered periphery. This is amazing.......

  • i pray they put this on there next cd.

  • This shit will make you move.

  • Sounds cool. Never really got too into meshuggah or this kind of music, but I like this band, at least from what I heard today.

  • @Twixgtx

I like Meshuggah and Periphery, what I see is a BIG difference between them is that Periphery is more melody based with groovy riffs while Meshuggah is all about complexity and polyrhythms (well not all about, but you get the point)

  • Sounds like the perfect mixture of Dream Theater and Meshuggah

  • @grimmenigma949 Meshuggah aint for posers. Meshuggah melts their minds.

  • @TeddyBearAutopsyUK i meant that its a poser move to compare two bands that are very different, hell even comparing similar bands is stupid

  • @grimmenigma949 trolling emo is trolling

  • @Norfou moronic Norfou is a poser

  • @grimmenigma949 fuck you buddy. what you said is so insulting i would gladly bash your head into a cement wall repeatedly until it was softer than a rotten grapefruit you piece of shit

  • @stevenphillipevans fuck off troll

  • Meshuggah? Periphery? Math Metal? Djent? Mere words do not describe the music of the Gods.

  • @StricknSTW Music of the gods? Frak the gods man.

  • Meshuggah > Everything else

  • Basically Meshuggah created this style called "Math Metal" so no matter what other band pops up and tries to play this particular style they will be mistaken for the guitar playing of Thordenal,Haake and the drumming of Haake.
