  • God is love!

  • ok...not quite the lyrics. it's a different arrangement! Sorry! :)

  • And here is the second half:

O sleep, dear Holy Baby with your head against my breast,

As meanwhile the pangs of my sorrow are soothed and put to rest.

A la ru, a la mé.

You need not fear King Herod; he will bring no harm to you.

So rest in the arms of your Mother who sings you “A la ru.”

  • Found the lyrics!!! I share this with all of you with so much love...God is love, however you conceive of God!

    Hispanic folk Song

A la ru, a la mé.

Oh duérmete Niño lindo en los brazos del amor,

Mientras que duerme y descansa la pena de mi dolor.

A la ru, a la mé.

  • whats the lullyby

  • oh God I write these with tears in my eyes having been fighting suicidal depression for years after my father committ suicide a few months after I graduated from college. I let his words affect me that I would never make it and succeed in my chosen profession and now it is nearly 20 years later and I never got my professional license and I have lost nearly everything my family worked so hard to earn. so God and everybody, I ask for prayers miracles to continuously choose life and rebuild life

  • Hey i love that song :) Even though i don't know what it meant

  • @AsianKidUploader yep me too n i also agree

  • what are the lyrics to the song she sings??

  • @dancertashalily yes i wanna no too

  • I have had friends pass from that terrible disease. I never once questioned God why they had to contract it or die years later. I just understand that life happens. Yes it did hurt, still does. But when my late husband was killed, I never asked why, but I felt that I would gladly take his place to be here for our daughter. I have had others pass from natural causes, even my brother had Grand Mall seizures I never asked why with him. I love and miss all of them. I just thanked him for the time.

  • I love how she totally evades giving an answer when the girls ask why god doesn't just cure them. Roma Downey's like, "God COULD cure you, but he cares more about healing your spirit. Sorry!" So basically she's saying god cares, just not enough to bother helping.

Apparently, god thought the best way to teach these girls a lesson about faith was by ensuring that they all die before they're 30. That's pleasant. How about we just accept that life sucks instead of calling it "god's plan"?

  • @catokeeffe I don't like religous rationalizations for evil or disease any more than you do. But I think what Monica's saying here is more subtle than that. Basically, she's referring to the Old Testament passage, "I have set before you life and death...Therefore, choose life." And she's saying that when it comes down to the question of life versus death, we must always choose LIFE, because that's what God is. Even against tremendous odds, we must always side with life, not death.

  • I wish this show was back on TV cause we really need shows like this today cause the messages that this show delivers is the best messages in the world: "No Matter What Happens You Are Never Alone and No Matter What You Are Always Loved" That is God's message to all of us. So for everyone out there God is with you all right now and he loves you very much so don't give up because God has not given up on you and he never will that is his promise to you and it is a promise that he will always keep.

  • @TheChristianChild it is cuz i watch it a lot weneva i hav piano lessons on thursdays i go to my aunt kathy house afterwards n me my mom n my aunt kathy watch it

  • Lovely Lullaby...

  • this scene makes me sad in particular today because John Dye has died three days ago. His revelation is very well applied to his own life....RIP John Dye!

  • @Shilara The girl with the dyed hair is dead too, back in 2007. Ashleigh Aston Moore.

  • B4 I new they had that disease, they were all bratty I was like "If I was there I'd be so ticked offfff one would get a bloody nose!" then I felt bad for them.. I take it back.. lol

  • can anybody give the lyrics to the song? i cant find them

  • Those poor girls deserve better, but it was a warm feeling to see them experiencing GOd when things look so bad for them This makes me cry to hear such a warm speech of the importance that GOd is there. thanks for putting up such a fine beautiful episode my friend that touches me. It makes you want to give all those poor girls a hug.

  • TBAA always makes me cry.

  • I believe...if every...single...person...in the world were truthfully told growing up, "There is a G-d, He made u, He loves u, He died for u, He wants joy in your life, He has a plan for your life, & u ought 2 love others as yourself," I'm sure the world would have all the "peace" it's been asking for all the time. (Look at Rachel Scott!)

    JESUS is Life & Freedom!
