It's not out in Japan until Christmas, and who knows when it'll be out in the states. We can't exactly tell you what we don't know. It'll be a buy for me for sure though.

Resistance 2 kinda can't out sell Gears? It's literally impossible. I can say I'm a PS3 owner and not really a 360 fan in anyway. But, look at it this way. The Gamestop I work in, we have taken 60 plus preorders for Gears 2 and maybe like 5 for Resistance 2, if that. Resistance 2 really isn't going to be that big. But, it actually was speculated last spring that PS3 would catch up to 360 worldwide by spring 2009. Thus far, it's actually coming true. So, lets keep our fingers crossed. =D

actually you can't say that it kinda won't outsell because you don't know how many pre orders has been made at other stores also how many pre orders doesn't mean much since you know there's going to be around 60 ppl to get there pre ordered game that already means alot of ppl are there but R2 you only know 5 ppl but by day 1 you'll probably see a line longer for R2 than GOW 2 since your getting more for your money and of good quality

I really wich that where the case. But, the way the video game industry works goes like this. If we don't get preorders for a game we don't get as many copies of a game as if we had 60 preorders. Make sense? I have to say personally I'm a Resistance fan and I really don't care much for Gears. But, I'm not saying it is immpossible for R2 to ever outsell Gears 2. But, on launch day Gears 2 is gonna smash it. Sad, but true.

maybe from we're you're selling them it probably won't sell ( or maybe it does ) but the thing is i played Gears 1 i really didn't feel a story for it started almost immediately and from what i read Gears story was just guys shooting,blood Resistance 1 i also played the demo waiting to get it along with Resistance 2 and again story wise it wasn't big but a bit better than Gears now it will all come down if Gears can succeed or fail while Resistance 2 from what i heard lives up to hype

also we have to take to mind that Gears 2 is not much of a sequel as almost nothing changed the small story is different there some new features all that makes Gears 2 more of an expansion pack and also take to mind that what was Gears true success was it gameplay ( maybe ) story ( no ) or graphics ( yes ) since Gears looked very good at the time but this time graphics won't cut it so unless Gears does something different it will fail or be a disappointing sequel just like DMC 2

Basicaly what I'm saying is just because a game is great doesn't mean it always gets the credit it deserves. I mean do you honestly think people buy games that are good. No, they buy poop. People play what Ign tells them to play. 45 minutes of Gears of War and that was enough for me to know it was boring and gray. So, basically just rememeber games are at the wrath of the public. I mean if people bought games solely on them just being good. Well, there'd be a copy of Ikaruga in every household.

I have to say... This looks to be the most promising jrpg this generation. I mean, Level 5 does have a perfect record. Square Enix just can't seem to live up to the Squaresoft name these days. So, perhaps Level 5 will make the next truely epic jrpg. =D

LBP appeals to the hardcore crowd, but nobody knows if it does the casual. But I am pretty positive it won't out sell something like Gears2. I honestly don't even think Resistance 2 will out sell Gears 2.

And no I don't like Gears, I am not a fan of Epic games at all (let alone M$).

GOTY for LBP? Probably. Most sales? No. I think M$ is going to flood everything with Gears 2 like they did Halo 3 and that will do it for sales. Sony has not been good with advertising this generation.

dude fifa 09 flopped on europe on x360. In Japan it costs less than a PS2 and sales have fallen back to normal (3k/4k) this week. The only place in the world where x360 is barely alive is US. However US will be gone for MS by the end of the year

I don't believe people buy a console to play a single game ( i don't know anyone that did it ) you're right people don't have to buy a PS3 to play FF 13, But they should PS3 is a reliable sistem, the 3 years of warranty for 360 it's almost over to alot of 360 users, when their 360 dies on them i think they will not buy another 360 ( except for fanboys ), cause 360 is the 3rd parties king, you have the games they 'stole ' in PS3 ....

There is no game worth purchasing on X360. All games on x360 are either multi or on PC too. PS3 has the better lineup of exclusive games. X360 is a dvd player which is more fit for a repair shops. WKS is only possible on PS3 and it is the biggest rpg of this gen

Yea M$ is very persistence in trying to secure everything but I think 2008 was the year PS3 was making a comeback and 2009 will be the rush of games we were promised to see using the advances in hardware. I think 09 is when we see more RPG I mean we have to many Shooters already.

Mircosoft aren't even in the videogames industry to make a profit (recall that their gaming division has lost millions). I think that they persit because they're so eager to show the world that no one trumps microsoft and that if they wanted to make a successful game console they most certainly would be able to.
