After that Nangarhar was the only province that was kept in peace, even though there were strong commanders from different parties. Haji Qadir managed to keep Nangarhar in peace and in progress. One thing Nangarharis are proud of Haji brothers is that they were never involved in any infighting without provocation. Nangarhar was the the home of peace during Haji Qadir Khan's era where as others were trying to drag Nangarhar into conflict but they resisted. Abdul Haq resigned from being chief of Afghan security forces in the start of the infamous Mujahideen government of 1990s and didn't wanted to stained his hands with blood of his beloved Afghans. They dont' just claim, their great grandfather was a minister of Foreign Affairs during Amir Sher Ali Khan and his name was Arsala Khan. Haqqani is an agent for ISI and that why the ISI arranged a meeting between him and the Americans after the tragedies of 9/11. The ISI promoted him to be a moderate Taliban leader and supported him to be the next Pakistani puppet leader replacing Gulbuddin and Mullah Omar. He is for the destruction of Afghanistan and Afghan society. His son claim the responsibility for the indiscriminate bombing of innocent Afghans recently. He is a murderer not a leader.

he was killed by his own men, with whom he lived for years in hindu kush mountains, pashtuns will never do such act by leaving his own men and taking refuge with others like he did after 96 coz this will be his fate.
He was good man and good leader but,
unfortuanetly wrong decisions at wrong time.

Zivon, how can you say that Haji Qadir was an ISI agent, all the Mujahidins were getting help from ISI, the aid was giving by the American agencies and the Saudis to ISI and from ISI it was distributed to the Afghan parties. Haji Qadir fought the Soviets with bravery, was always in the forefront in the battles. If he was ISI agent why he got deported after the Talibans had taken over most of the country.

Qder was a mujahid and AFghan and for that reason only may his soul rest in peace, BUT HE WAS AN AGENT AND SOLD OUT TO ISIS AND TO A SLAVE NATION LIKE PAKIS, qader fought alongside my family members and in later days he spent his days in ISI places in peshawar and was a sold out, He was also not a true Afghan for unity he was a seperatist and Pashtoon nationalist. Can u tell me who he killed? He was a great leader who fought against the Soviets when they had taken over the country by force. After that Nangarhar was the only province that was kept in peace, even though there were strong commanders from different parties. Haji Qadir managed to keep Nangarhar in peace and in progress. The hospital, the market place, the university, the schools for men and woman all were operating without any problems....
