John McCain is basically the only candidate I know of that doesn't support medical marijuana or marijuana use in general. I think it should be legal but laws should be in place. Like I said in another video, it should be put on the market for tobacco stores and shops to sell. This way there will be no black market selling drugs when they can buy it legally.. therefore the drug dealers will hopefully get a normal life and there will be less crime on the streets.

The way I see it, if anything if people use harder drugs they probably have psycological problems and use harder drugs to escape their problems. Some people try harder drugs because they are the experimental type of person. Just because someone smokes pot they don't crave heroin or cocaine! They talked to random students that smoked pot, what they found was that the people that smoked pot stayed with pot and that the people that used harder drugs weren't really marijuana smokers, they mostly used hard drugs.

Anslinger was pissed when the study was brought publically proving him wrong and banned anyone from doing further testing with pot that might prove him wrong or they would be in jail.

When Anslinger was pushing to get the government to ban marijuana he also brought some of William Hearsts articles to them as proof that marijuana was a very dangerous drug. He did this in 1937 and it was banned.
